- Additional safety precautions - precautions

- Do not use the supplied charger for other purposes, it is only suitable for charging the battery of the grater type ZHC28

BATTERIES PRECAUTIONS
Batteries must not be exposed to heat sources such as heat, sun or similar sources;
Remove batteries if they start to heat up or you know you do not use the unit for a long period

Even the battery must be disposed of in compliance with environmental regulations, to an authorized collection center, or deposited in the containers at the store where it was purchased.
We advise you to fully discharge the battery by activating the device to a standstill of the motor.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Note: it normally takes 8 hours for a full batteries charge, but if the grater has not been used for a long time, or when using the appliance for the first time, it will require a longer charge that will not have to any case, exceed 15 hours. If during use the batteries run out of power, by inserting the battery charger in the unit, a few minutes will be enough to restart operation.
- Insert the rechargeable "B" batteries into the battery compartment (3).
- Plug the power supply "A" into a socket (220 / 240V) and the power supply jack inside unit connector (2)
- Check that the Power light (1) is on, if not check that if power supply is properly connected electrical outlet and batteries have been installed correctly.
- Wait until the battery charge is complete
- Disconnect the battery charger
- Insert one of the 2 type rollers (8/9) inside the appliance.
- Lift the press (4) and put the cheese in the compartment (5).
- Press the on-off switch (7) while pressing the presser (4) at the same time.
- Slightly tilting the grater to let the cheese drop onto the food.
Recommendation: this appliance is designed to grate cheese, but it is also possible to grate other foods such as chocolate, nuts, hazelnuts and other foods that are not too hard.
DO NOT USE FOR ICE, IT MAY DAMAGE IRREPARABLY AND TO VOID THE WARRANTY.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Always disconnect the power supply for each cleaning cycle.
At the first use of your grater or after a prolonged period of non-use, wash the rollers in hot water with mild detergent, rinse well and dry. Clean the body of the grater with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids to avoid damaging it.
