The unlocking of the NAVEE V50 is done exclusively via the Mi Home or Xiaomi Home app. If your scooter refuses to unlock, follow this step-by-step procedure:

Step 1: Check Bluetooth connection
The Bluetooth icon on the dashboard must be lit (it should remain illuminated when the scooter is locked). Bring your phone close to the scooter, enable Bluetooth on your phone, and then launch the app. If Bluetooth is off on the dashboard, you will need to turn it back on by briefly pressing the power button.

Step 2: Check if the scooter is in sleep mode
If your NAVEE V50 has been off for more than a month with a battery below 30%, it automatically enters sleep mode and will not turn on. In this case, you need to charge the scooter for about 3 seconds to wake up the battery. Then wait for it to fully turn on before attempting to unlock.

Step 3: Rescan the QR code in case of synchronization loss
If the app cannot communicate with the scooter, perform a new pairing: open the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app, go to the top right corner, select Scan, and scan the QR code located on the right side of the footboard (or in the back cover of the manual). Follow the on-screen instructions to re-add the scooter.

Step 4: Reset the Bluetooth connection
If the previous steps did not work, reset the Bluetooth connection: turn on the scooter, squeeze the brake lever, then press the power button 5 times in succession. Wait for the confirmation beep. Then, rescan the QR code from the app to re-pair the scooter.

Step 5: Change of account or phone
If you have changed your Mi Home account or phone, first remove the scooter from the old account. Open the original account, find the scooter in the app, select it, and delete it. Then, on your new account or phone, rescan the QR code to create a new link.

Important: Technical limitations
The scooter automatically turns off after 24 hours of being locked, but it remains locked after it turns off. You must turn the scooter back on with the power button, then unlock it via the app. Factory reset (brake lever held + power button pressed for 7 seconds) does not work if the scooter is locked.
