USING THE GARMENT STEAMER
FILLING THE WATER TANK
Before filling the Garment Steamer ensure it is not plugged in to the mains socket.
- Place the steamer on the heel on a flat, level surface. Hold the handle and with the other hand pull out the removable water tank.
- Lift the bung out of the filling hole and fill the water tank via the filling hole, until water reaches the "MAX" level mark on the top of the tank. DO NOT overfill.
- Replace the bung, dry any excess water from the tank, then firmly press it back into position.
We recommend using distilled, deionised or demineralised water only.
Never use battery topping up fluid or water containing any substances like starch, sugar, fragrant additives or defrosted water from a refrigerator.
SELECTING THE STEAM LEVEL
- Press the on/off button to switch on the Garment Steamer. The Eco/Boost button will illuminate and flash, then become still when it is up to temperature.
- Press the ECO/BOOST button once to select the ECO setting. For stubborn creases press the button twice for the BOOST setting.
- Press and hold the steam trigger, the pump can be heard drawing water from the tank to release the steam or press the trigger twice for continuous team. It may take up to 25 seconds to generate steam.
- Hold the hotplate around 1 inch from the surface of the garment. Pass the Garment Steamer over the garment whilst steaming, you may need to do this a few times to remove more stubborn creases.
- To stop steaming release the trigger or press the steam trigger again to stop continuous steam.
- The Garment Steamer has an Auto-Shut Off feature which activates when the product has been idle for 8 minutes.
CAUTION: The Garment Steamer has a single temperature. Before ironing your clothing, we recommend passing it over the inner hem or similar area to test the temperature is suitable.
USING THE GARMENT STEAMER
HANGING THE GARMENT
Use a non-metal coat hanger to hang the garment to be steamed.
CAUTION: If hanging the garment against a vertical surface such as a door, take care not to damage the surface with steam.
BRUSH ACCESSORY
If required, the brush attachment can be used to relax the fibres of a garment.
- While the Garment Steamer is cool, place the top of the brush attachment over the tip of the soleplate and then clip the bottom into place.
- Brush the garment before steaming.
- To remove, pull the brush attachment removal tab.
CAUTION: Allow the steamer to cool fully prior to removing the brush attachment, remove with care as condensation may build up during use.
WARNING: Do not direct steam at people or animals. Do not steam clothes that are being worn.
REFILLING
To refill, turn the garment steamer off by pressing the power button until the indicator light goes out, unplug from mains socket and follow the filling procedure above.
CARE & CLEANING
EMPTYING AND STORING
When you have finished using the garment steamer, unplug from the main socket, detach the water tank and empty any remaining water. When cool, store on its heel with the cord wrapped loosely around it.
WARNING: Do not pull or wrap the cable too tightly as doing so could damage the cable which is not covered under warranty.
TO CLEAN A COATED SOLEPLATE
Do not use scouring powder or solution as this could cause damage to the coating.
If any man-made fibres fuse to the soleplate set the iron at the MAX position and pass it over a clean piece of cotton to draw the deposit off the surface.
