The Consumer Protection Safety Commission advises that the riding of small wheel diameter bicycles at excessive speeds can lead to instability and is not recommended.
Children should be made aware of all possible riding hazards and correct riding behavior before they take to the streets - Do not leave it up to trial and error.

Schwin Roadster Assembly Instructions
Tools needed:
13mm (1/2") wrench or crescent (adjustable) wrench
Parts list:
1) Main frame assembly -- frame, rear wheels, rear lenders,
rear standing deck
2) Saddle assembly - saddle, carriage bolt, saddlo-adjustment
knob
3) Fork assembly - front fork, front wheel, front fender
4) Handlebar assembly - handlebar, grips, stem clamp

Disassemble saddle-adjustment knob from saddle. Position saddle on frame with carriage bolt protruding through center slot in frame. Tighten knob onto carriage bolt to lock saddle in position. Fore and aft saddle adjustment can be accomplished by loosening the saddle-adjustment knob a few turns, sliding saddle forward or backward, and then re-tightening saddle-adjustment knob.

If any wheel does not turn freely, check that tender is not rubbing on the tire. If it is flex tender to the opposite side that it is rubbing on, until it is centered (see illustration). While holding front wheel, check that handlebar cannot be turned independently from wheel. Check that saddle carriage bolt and lightening knob are holding saddle securely. If necessary, lighten saddle-adjustment knob further.

Any other warranty claims not included in this statement are void. This especially includes installation, assembly, and disassembly costs. This war-tary does not cover panel damage, trash or any modifications made to the blue. Normal Wear Parts are delinded as gips, lrics, lubes, and cables. These parts are warranted to be free from defects in material and workman- ship as delivered with the product. Any claim for repair or replacement of normal wear Parts (grips, lubes, lias, cables, batch shows, and saddlo date of purchases. The warranty does not cover normal wear and leaf. Improper assembly or maintenance, or installation of parts or accessories not originally intended or compatible with the bicycle as solid. The warranty does not apply to damage or failure due to accident, abuse, misuse, neg- toel, or their claims involving these issues will not be honored.
The entire blue frame is guaranteed against faculty materials and workership for as long as the initial consumer purchaser has the blue, subject to the condition of the warranty listed below if before failure should occur by proof of purchase. All other parts of the unit except Nominal Wear Parts are warranted against detective materials and workership for a period of 1 year from the date of confirmed warranty. The address given on this page: Blue frames must be lettered for inspection at customers' expense.
