Puis-je remplacer l'ampoule moi-même ?

Le remplacement de l'ampoule doit être effectué par un technicien qualifié. Débranchez toujours l'appareil et laissez-le refroidir complètement avant toute intervention. Ne touchez jamais l'ampoule halogène avec les mains nues, utilisez un morceau de papier ou un sachet plastique pour la manipuler. L'ampoule de rechange doit être identique (12V/50W).

Comment changer le fusible ?

Débranchez d'abord l'appareil du secteur. Le fusible se trouve à l'arrière de l'effet lumineux. Remplacez-le par un fusible de même type (2A/250V~). Si le problème persiste, contactez un technicien qualifié.

Pourquoi mon appareil ne s'allume-t-il pas ?

Vérifiez d'abord que la prise secteur est sous tension. Ensuite, contrôlez le fusible (2A) à l'arrière. Enfin, vérifiez l'ampoule : si elle est grillée, remplacez-la par une ampoule halogène 12V/50W.

Comment fonctionne le contrôle par la musique ?

Le miroir rotatif est commandé par le microphone intégré. Il réagit aux impulsions sonores ambiantes. Pour un fonctionnement optimal, placez l'appareil à proximité de la source sonore.

Quelle est la distance de sécurité à respecter ?

L'effet lumineux doit être placé à au moins 50 cm de tout matériau inflammable (rideaux, livres, etc.). Évitez également que le boîtier soit accessible par inadvertance pendant l'utilisation.

Puis-je utiliser l'appareil en continu ?

Les effets lumineux disco ne sont pas conçus pour un usage continu. Une utilisation alternée prolonge considérablement la durée de vie de l'ampoule. Éteignez l'appareil régulièrement.

Comment nettoyer l'appareil ?

Débranchez toujours l'appareil avant de le nettoyer. Utilisez un chiffon doux et sec. N'obstruez jamais les orifices de ventilation. Vérifiez régulièrement qu'aucune poussière ou objet indésirable ne bouche les ouvertures.

Puis-je utiliser un variateur de lumière avec cet appareil ?

Non, l'effet lumineux doit être connecté directement au secteur sans interposition de variateur. L'utilisation d'un variateur pourrait endommager l'appareil.

Comment installer correctement l'appareil ?

Fixez solidement l'effet lumineux à l'emplacement choisi à l'aide du support fourni. Installez également un câble de sécurité (chaîne, câble d'acier) distinct du support principal. Assurez-vous que personne ne se tient sous la zone de montage pendant l'installation. Raccordez exclusivement à une prise de courant avec terre.

Que faire si le boîtier est endommagé et que des pièces internes sont visibles ?

Ne branchez pas l'appareil sur une prise secteur. Faites-le réparer par un technicien qualifié. L'ouverture du boîtier est dangereuse et annule la garantie.

Congratulations on the purchase of this SkyTec light effect.

Please read this manual carefully prior to using the unit.

Warning:

• The SkyTec light effect contains a modern halogen lamp of a high light intensity. Do not look into the lamp. This might damage seriously your eyes.
• During use, these lamps get very hot. Therefore the light effect must be placed at least 50 cm away from inflammable materials such as curtains, books, etc. Make sure that the housing cannot be touched by accident.
• For indoor use only.
• During installation, nobody should stand beneath the mounting area.
• Prior to the first use, have the unit checked by a qualified person.
• The unit contains voltage carrying parts. DO NOT open the light effect.
• Unplug the unit from the mains prior to repairs, maintenance and replacement of the lamp.
• Never plug or unplug the unit with wet hands.
• Disconnect the unit from the mains prior to replacing the fuse.
• If the plug and/or mains lead are damaged, they need to be repaired by a qualified technician.
• If the unit is damaged to an extent that you can see internal parts, do not plug the unit into a mains outlet.
• Repairs and lamp replacement has to be carried out by a qualified technician.
• Only connect this unit to an earthed mains outlet of 230Vac/50Hz .
  Always unplug the unit during a thunderstorm or when it is not in use.
• If the unit has not been used for a longer period of time, condensation can occur inside the housing. Please let the unit reach room temperature prior to use.
• When you unplug the unit from the mains always pull the plug, never the lead.
• In order to prevent dropping of the unit, a safety fastening needs to be installed. This can be a solid chain, a steel cable, etc. which has to be fastened separately from the mounting bracket.
• The supplied bracket is the main fixing and must be used to solidly mount the light effect.
  In order to avoid accidents in public premises, the local legal requirements and safety regulations/warnings must be fulfilled.
• Keep out of the reach of children.

Mounting

Mount the light effect at the selected location with the supplied brackets. Keep the light effect away from moisture. Firmly fasten the light effect. Vibrations shorten the life time of the halogen lamp. Do not obstruct the ventilation holes to ensure a sufficient air flow. Regularly check the ventilation holes to make sure that no dust or other unwanted materials obstruct the openings. Make sure that the mains lead cannot be damaged. Connect the light effect exclusively to an earthed outlet.

Use

Disco light effects are not meant for continuous use. An alternating use increases considerably the life time. The light effects must be directly connected to the mains without interconnecting a dimmer. The rotating mirror is controlled via a built-in microphone. Check regularly the ventilation slots to prevent dust or unwanted objects obstructing the holes.

Insertion or replacement of the halogen lamp

Always unplug the unit from the mains and let it cool down completely. Unscrew the round lamp cover on the bottom side. Pull the lamp fitting carefully out and remove the broken lamp. NEVER touch the halogen lamp with bare hands. Due to the extreme heat your finger prints are burnt into the quartz glass which shortens considerably the life time. Use a piece of paper or a plastic bag to unpack and to mount the lamp. The new lamp must be of the same voltage and wattage (12V/50W). Put the lamp holder in place so that the cover plate near the lamp is directed towards the lens on the front side. Screw the lamp holder in place and plug the unit into a mains outlet. Only use good quality halogen lamps that comply with the standard EN60357.

Trouble-shooting

• Check if there is voltage present at the mains outlet.
• Check the 2 Amp fuse on the rear side of the light effect (first unplug the unit).
• Check if the lamp is not blown and replace it if necessary.
