C. Operation instructions on cleaning filter cores
1 Screw out the ceramic filter core.
2 Take out the upper cover plate of filter core, the filter screen underneath
and the white non-woven cloth.
3 Put the entire master filter core in a barrel of clear water horizontally and wash it gently up and down. After immersing it for 4-5 minutes, take it out and keep it upside down until no water comes out of the outlet of the master filter core. Later, keep it up until water comes out completely, then put the entire master filter core in a barrel of clear water, and wash it gently up and down. After immersing it for 2-3 minutes, take it out and keep it upside down until no water comes out of the outlet of the master filter core. Finally place it up until water comes out completely. Repeat the above operation three times (See Fig. A and B)
Fix a cleaning joint to the bottom outlet of the master filter core. With the joint pointing to the water tap, wash the master filter core (See Fig. C) until no black water comes out of it (approximately 15 min).
5 Wash and immerse the ceramic filter core with water, and remove the ash occurring during the transportation. (See Fig. D)
6 After cleaning, mount the upper cover plate of filter core, the filter screen underneath and the white non-woven cloth, and screw up the ceramic filter score.

F Cautions
a) In case the master filter core has not been thoroughly cleaned, some powder of active carbon may seep, and please wash the filter core in accordance with the directions of cleaning. To guarantee water quality, the first bottle of water can be abandoned.
b) Keep this product away from direct sunshine.
c) Water quality varies with various regions. If the service life of filter core and water quality purified are affected by worse water source, it is advisable not to drink the raw water if you are not aware of the condition of local water source.
d) When this product is not in use for over a week and to use it again, please let the remaining water out of the lower barrel.
e) Please disassemble and clean the unit according to the directions when 200 - 300L water is used or the water flow becomes less apparently.
f) To avoid water leakage during the use, water marks of the upper and lower barrels are especially designed. For example, when the water in the lower barrel is at mark “0”, it is better to add water into the upper barrel to mark “0” on it. When the water in the lower barrel is at mark “1”, it is better to add water into the corresponding upper barrel to mark “1” on it. Reason out the rest by analogy.
g) It is normal that the water flow becomes less gradually or blocked.
during the use if the lower barrel has a higher water level and the upper barrel has a lower water level. This is aimed at preventing water from leaking from the middle gasket when the lower barrel is full.
h) After adding water into the master filter core, water cannot come out until the air inside is eliminated some time later. To facilitate air removal, first screw out the connecting cover of the ceramic core and then screw in it when water comes out from the master filter core.
i) Purify the recommended water source during the service life of this water purifier. For a family of 2-3 people, please replace the filter core after it has been used for 4-6 months or when quality decreases obviously.
j) Attention please: Don't add water any more if the water level reaches the highest line.
