Comment câbler le VM-SRLY ?

Connectez l'alimentation (12V DC) aux bornes V+ et V-. Le signal de commande se connecte à IN et la masse commune à GND. Les contacts du relais (COM, NO, NC) sont pour la charge.

Quelle est la tension d'alimentation recommandée ?

L'alimentation recommandée est de 12V DC, mais le module accepte une plage de 5 à 24V DC. Assurez-vous que la source peut fournir au moins 100 mA.

Le relais est-il compatible avec Arduino ?

Oui, il est compatible avec Arduino. Connectez la broche de commande à une sortie numérique via une résistance de 1 kΩ en série pour limiter le courant. Utilisez une alimentation externe pour le relais si nécessaire.

Comment tester le fonctionnement du relais ?

Appliquez une tension de commande (par exemple 5V) sur la broche IN par rapport à GND. Vous devriez entendre un clic et la continuité entre COM et NO doit être établie. En l'absence de commande, COM est connecté à NC.

Que faire si le relais ne commute pas ?

Vérifiez d'abord l'alimentation du module. Mesurez la tension entre V+ et V- (doit être entre 5 et 24V). Assurez-vous que le signal de commande est suffisant (au moins 3V pour les modèles 5V). Si le problème persiste, le relais est peut-être défectueux.

Non, ce relais est conçu pour un usage intérieur uniquement. Il n'est pas protégé contre l'humidité ou la poussière. Pour une utilisation extérieure, placez-le dans un boîtier étanche adapté.

Quel est le courant maximum que peuvent commuter les contacts ?

Le courant nominal maximum est de 1 A en 30V DC ou 125V AC. Ne dépassez pas cette valeur pour éviter d'endommager le relais. Pour des courants plus élevés, utilisez un relais intermédiaire.

Comment connecter plusieurs relais VM-SRLY ?

Vous pouvez connecter plusieurs relais en parallèle sur la même alimentation, mais chaque broche de commande doit être pilotée indépendamment. Veillez à ce que l'alimentation puisse fournir le courant total nécessaire.

Y a-t-il une protection contre les surcharges ?

The VM-SRLY Smart Relay module is designed for use with Valcom SIP Intercoms. The Smart Relay provides both a Normally Open and Normally Closed (Form C) output connection for use with auxiliary equipment such as electric door strikes, gate openers, etc.

INSTALLATION

Operation

The VM-SRLY provides one Normally Open and one Normally Closed (Form C) relay connection for use with Valcom SIP Doorphone/Intercom devices. The relay is activated by pressing a digit on the calling telephone. The relay is typically used to activate door entry equipment, gates, etc.

Mounting

The VM-SRLY can be mounted to a solid surface using the double-sided tape affixed to the back of the module, or can be attached using the #4 x 3/4" screw included with the module. See Figure 1.

Power / Signal Connections

The power and signal connections are provided to the VM-SRLY by a four wire connector. The recommended wiring uses two pairs from a standard Category 3 (or better) twisted-pair cable. The screw terminal block is removable for ease of installation. Make the connection from the Valcom SIP Doorphone/Intercom device to the VM-SRLY following the diagram shown in Figure 2.

Relay Connections

Access to the form C relay is provided via a three pin screw terminal block on the VM-SRLY. The screw terminal block is removable for making connections. The Common contact is the middle terminal. The normally open contact is labeled "NO" and the normally closed contact is labeled "NC". Make connections between NO and Common, or NC and Common, as necessary. See Figure 2.

SETUP

No setup is necessary for the VM-SRLY. Information related to activating the VM-SRLY from a Valcom SIP Doorphone/Intercom device will need to be programmed into the SIP Doorphone using a computer. The PC used for programming should be connected to the same subnet as the Doorphone. Setup will be done using the IP Solution Setup Tool.
