Comment brancher un micro sur la table de mixage XM5 ?

Utilisez un câble XLR pour brancher le micro sur une entrée combo (canaux 1 ou 2). Assurez-vous que le canal est en mode micro (commutateur MIC/LINE) et ajustez le gain.

Puis-je utiliser la table de mixage avec un ordinateur ?

Oui, via l'entrée auxiliaire jack 3,5 mm ou via les entrées RCA. Vous pouvez également enregistrer la sortie sur un PC via la sortie RCA 'Record'.

Comment régler l'égaliseur pour un son optimal ?

Utilisez les potards EQ (Bass, Mid, Treble) sur chaque canal. Commencez par positionner à 12h, puis ajustez selon vos préférences : + pour plus de présence, - pour atténuer.

Que faire si le son est distordu ?

Vérifiez le niveau de gain du canal : si le voyant clip s'allume, baissez le gain. Assurez-vous aussi que le volume principal n'est pas au maximum et que les câbles sont correctement branchés.

Comment utiliser les effets intégrés (réverbération, écho) ?

Tournez le potard 'FX' sur le canal souhaité pour envoyer le signal vers l'effet. Ajustez le niveau d'effet global avec le potard 'FX Return' ou 'Master FX'.

La table de mixage ne s'allume pas, que faire ?

Vérifiez que l'adaptateur secteur est bien branché et que la prise fonctionne. Si le problème persiste, le fusible interne peut être défectueux : contactez le SAV.

Quel type de casque utiliser pour le monitoring ?

Utilisez un casque avec une fiche jack 6,35 mm. Branchez-le dans la prise 'Phones'. Réglez le volume casque avec le potard 'Phones'.

Puis-je connecter plusieurs enceintes à la sortie principale ?

Oui, les sorties XLR principales peuvent être branchées sur deux enceintes actives. Assurez-vous que l'impédance totale ne dépasse pas les spécifications (généralement 4 ohms minimum).

Comment nettoyer la table de mixage ?

Débranchez l'appareil. Utilisez un chiffon doux et sec pour essuyer la surface. Pour les potards, un peu d'alcool isopropylique sur un coton-tige peut aider, mais évitez tout liquide à l'intérieur.

Quelle est la consommation électrique de l'appareil ?

Congratulations on your purchase of this product. Read this manual carefully before installing the product. XM5 crossover was developed with the highest technology and high-quality components, which ensure its high reliability.

Versatile. It offers filters for 5 ways with variable adjustment, output level control at each way as well as adjustable- BASS Boost & Boost Frequency.

For convenience at installing and adjusting, all settings, inputs and outputs have indications at the front panel at hand. Their disposition aims to enable easy configuration of all ways of the crossover

INSTALLATION

Professional Installation by an authorized DS18 dealer is highly recommended! Otherwise, the performance of your new gear may not be satisfactory. In the event you decide to do your own installation, please read and follow this manual very carefully. Failure to do so may compromise the integrity of this product, your automobile, and possibly voyd the product warranty.

XM5 Electronic crossover must be placed at a stable base/support of easy access, away from heating sources.

It is not recommended to install the product at the side of loudspeaker sound boxes due to its vibrations.

Do not place it directly on vehicle body parts, frame or structure.

Recommended with wire width is 1.5 mm ² (15 AWG) for positive and negative wire, and 0,75mm (21AWG) for remote wire

The positive wire must be connected to the positive pole of the battery.

For protection, a fuse must be installed close

The remote terminal must be close to the battery (1A)

The Negative wire must be connected to the negative pole of the battery.

The remote terminal must be connected to the remote output of the CD/DVD Player

Never supply power to XM5 from the original vehicle wiring.

In order to avoid noise capitation, use armored wire. They must not be installed parallel to incoming power supply wires, being the shortest possible.

Any incoming power connection, input or output, must be done only with the device turned off.

Should your crossover require service Please consult with the dealer from which it was purchased, or contact DS18 Local Dealer.

Do not attempt to return your crossover directly to us without first calling for a Return Authorization Number. Units received without an accompanying Return Authorization Number will be processed more slowly. Additionally, you must include a copy of your purchase receipt from an Authorized dealer for consideration of in-warranty service; otherwise repair charges will apply. Units received without receipt will be held for 30 days, allowing us time to contact you and obtain a copy of the receipt. After 30 days, all units will be returned.
