Comment brancher le caisson Milan M18B à une table de mixage ?

Utilisez un câble XLR symétrique de la sortie de la table (Main Out ou Sub Out) vers l’entrée XLR du caisson. Réglez le volume au minimum avant d’allumer.

Quel type de câble utiliser pour relier deux caissons en chaîne ?

Utilisez un câble XLR mâle-femelle de la sortie loop-through du premier caisson vers l’entrée du second. Assurez-vous que la polarité est respectée.

Comment régler le filtre coupe-bas (Low Cut) ?

Tournez le potentiomètre Low Cut dans le sens horaire pour augmenter la fréquence de coupure (généralement de 30 à 150 Hz). Ajustez selon les enceintes satellites utilisées.

Que faire si le caisson ne s’allume pas ?

Vérifiez le câble d’alimentation, le fusible (sur le panneau arrière) et que la prise secteur fonctionne. Si le voyant Power ne s’allume pas, contactez le SAV.

Comment utiliser le switch de phase ?

Le switch Phase (0°/180°) permet d’inverser la polarité du signal. Placez-le sur la position qui donne le niveau de graves le plus élevé à l’écoute.

Quelle est la consommation électrique du Milan M18B ?

Réduisez le volume de la source ou du caisson. Vérifiez que le gain d’entrée n’est pas trop élevé. Si le voyant Limit s’allume, baissez le niveau pour éviter d’endommager le haut-parleur.

2200-Watt 18" Powered Subwoofer

The Milan M18B is powered 18" bandpass subwoofer that extends the frequency range and increases the overall loudness of any Milan system.

The bandpass design produces high bass energy within the pass band, which is tuned to reinforce bass instrument frequencies, and the steep cut-off slopes ensure an effective acoustic transition to Milan full-range loudspeakers.

The onboard Class-D amplifier provides over 2,200 watts of maximum output power with plenty of headroom to power the long-excision bass driver, allowing short term transients to be reproduced with wide dynamic range. Two discrete balanced XLR inputs plus corresponding thru connections on balanced male XLR allow a stereo system comprising of two Milan full-range loudspeakers to be operated with only one subwoofer if required, the sub-bass frequencies being filtered and summed to the subwoofer drive unit. A switchable 6dB boost is available at a centre frequency between 40Hz and 90Hz, while an overall level control allows the sub-bass frequencies to be balanced with the system. A polarity switch is provided for optimum subwoofer integration. Rear panel LEDs indicate power on, signal present, and the onset of limiting action.

The birch plywopod cabinet is equipped with heavy duty wheels to aid handling and transportation, while the pole mount socket allows Milan full range loudspeakers to be mounted on top of the subwoofer with a minimal footprint.

Specifications

The system shall be of the bandpass type consisting of one 18" (457mm) low frequency loudspeaker together with an integrated Class-D amplifier. Performance specifications of a typical production unit shall meet or exceed the following: Frequency response, measured with swept sine wave input, shall be flat within ±3dB from 40Hz to 100Hz, and within -10dB from 30Hz to 150Hz. Maximum SPL (peak) measured with music program input shall be 134dB in half space.

Dimensions: 590mm high x 640mm wide x 530mm high (23.2" x 25.2" x 20.9"). Net weight: 48kg (105.6lbs). The loudspeaker system shall be the Turbosound Milan M18B.
