Comment allumer et éteindre le thermomètre Taylor 483CR ?

Pour allumer, appuyez sur le bouton marche/arrêt. L'écran s'affiche. Pour éteindre, maintenez le même bouton enfoncé pendant 2 secondes ou l'appareil s'éteint automatiquement après 10 minutes d'inactivité.

Comment changer la pile du thermomètre ?

Retirez le couvercle du compartiment pile à l'arrière du boîtier à l'aide d'un tournevis cruciforme. Remplacez la pile LR44 usagée par une neuve en respectant la polarité. Refermez le couvercle.

Le thermomètre affiche 'LLL' ou 'HHH', que faire ?

'LLL' indique une température inférieure à la plage de mesure (< -50°C). 'HHH' indique une température supérieure (> 300°C). Assurez-vous que la sonde est correctement placée et que la température mesurée est dans la plage spécifiée.

Puis utiliser le thermomètre pour mesurer la température d'un four ?

Oui, la sonde peut supporter des températures jusqu'à 300°C. Insérez la sonde dans l'aliment ou le liquide, mais ne laissez pas le boîtier en plastique à l'intérieur du four. Le boîtier doit rester à l'extérieur.

Comment nettoyer la sonde ?

Après chaque utilisation, nettoyez la sonde en acier inoxydable avec un chiffon humide et du savon doux. Ne plongez jamais le boîtier dans l'eau. Pour une désinfection, utilisez de l'alcool isopropylique.

Le thermomètre est-il étanche ?

Non, seul la sonde est résistante à l'humidité. Le boîtier électronique n'est pas étanche. Évitez tout contact avec l'eau.

Comment basculer entre Celsius et Fahrenheit ?

L'appareil est réglé par défaut en Celsius. Pour passer en Fahrenheit, appuyez sur le bouton '°C/°F' (si présent) ou consultez la notice. Certains modèles nécessitent de maintenir le bouton marche/arrêt pendant 3 secondes.

Que faire si l'affichage est faible ou clignote ?

Mounting Instructions for Model Number 483

Thank you for purchasing a Taylor Heritage Collection® Indoor/Outdoor Tube Thermometer. This classic icon is the perfect decorative accent for inside or outside the home. The thermometer shows temperature in Fahrenheit and Celsius providing an attractive, practical and weatherproof unit that will withstand the elements for years to come.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

• Remove the decorative finials from the ends of the tube thermometer. Place the holes in the bracket over the exposed screws. Replace the decorative finials at top and bottom and screw down to secure.
• Separated liquid: occasionally, during shipment or storage, the red liquid in the thermometer tube might separate slightly. This is not a defect and the liquid can be reunited easily before installation. Before installing the brackets, hold thermometer firmly in hand, bulb end down. Vigorously swing arm in downward arc from shoulder height or tap the side of the glass thermometer tube against the palm of the hand. Continue until liquid is completely joined.

MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS

• Select a desirable location out of direct sunlight for accurate temperature readings.
• Depending on the mounting surface material, you may need to pre-drill holes to install mounting screws.
• Use the two screws included in the box. Drive screws into surface leaving approximately 12 protruding.
• Mount the unit's metal hanging bracket using the screws.
• Tighten screws to secure the unit.
