JCS, at its option, will repair or replace this product or any component of the product found to be defective during the warranty period. Your fan comes includes and electronic LED display panel. The LED display will light up when a particular function of the fan has been activated.

Retractable Cord Feature

Your fan comes with a retractable cord feature for convenient cord storage during the off season. To activate the feature, simply press and hold the retractable cord button located on the back of the unit near the power cord exit.

REMOTE INSTRUCTIONS

This unit requires 2 AAA batteries, 1.5V (included).

Battery Replacement

a) Remove battery cover from remote control.
b) Remove old batteries from the remote control.
c) Insert two new batteries, matching up the negative (-) and positive (+) symbols accordingly, pressing them firmly into their slot.

d) Replace the battery cover.

NOTES:

- Replace all batteries of a set at the same time. - Being careful not to bend or damage the contact spring, clean the battery contacts and devices' contacts prior to installing the batteries.

- Remove the batteries from the equipment when it is not being used for an extended period of time.

• Remove the used batteries promptly.

- Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable batteries. - Do not discard used batteries into household trash containers. Contact your local government for disposal or recycling practices in your area.

Follow these instructions to correctly and safely care for your fan. Please remember:

REPLACEABLE FUSE

If your (5 Amp, 125 Volt) replaceable fuse blows, please order a new fuse at 1-800-253-2764. Follow the below instructions to replace the fuse on the plug.

User Servicing Instructions

1. Unplug your fan. Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle or other outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling on cord.

2. Open fuse cover, located on the top of the plug, by using your thumb or a flathead screwdriver to slide the cover down towards the prongs.

NOTE: Ensure that fuse cover is completely open before attaining to remove fuse.

FAN CLEANING

• Always unplug the fan before cleaning.

- Do not allow water to drip on or enter into fan housing.

- Be sure to use a soft cloth moistened with a mild soap solution

- Do not use any of the following as a cleaner gasoline, thinner, or benzene.

Clean the fan grill, housing and base with a soft, damp cloth. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REMOVE THE FAN BLADE. Please use caution around the motor housing area. Do not allow the motor or other electrical components to be exposed to water.

FAN STORAGE

When storing your fan in the off season, it is important to keep it in a safe dry location. It is important to protect the fan head from dust. We strongly recommend using the original box from purchase.

Para activar esta función, simplemente mantenga presionado el botón del cordón retráctil ④ ubicado en la parte posterior de la unidad, cerca de la salida del cable de alimentación.

DECLARACIÓN DE LA COMISIÓN FEDERAL DE COMUNICACIONES (FCC POR SUS SIGLAS EN INGLÉS)

Posibilidad de interferencias con Radio/Televisión Este equipo cumple con la Parte 15 de las Normas de la FCC. Su funcionamiento está sujeto a las siguientes dos condiciones: (1) Este equipo no puede causar

interferencia perjudicial y (2) este equipo debe aceptar toda interferencia recibida, inclusive interferencia que pueda causar un funcionamiento no deseado.

Este producto ha sido probado y se determiné que cumple con los límites para un dispositivo digital Clase B, según la parte 15 del reglamento de la FCC. Estos límites están disejados para brindar protección razonable contra interferencias nocivas en una instalación residencial. Reemplazo De Pilas

a) Retire la cubierta de las pilas del control remoto. b) Retire las pilas antiguas del control remoto. c) Inserte dos baterías nuevas, haciéndolas coincidir de acuerdo a los símbolos negativo (-) y positivo (+), presionándolas firmemente en su ranura. d) Vuelva a colocar la cubierta de las pilas.

- Reemplace todas las pilas al mismo tiempo. - Con cuidado de no doblar ni dañar el resorte de contacto, limpie los contactos de la batería y los

contactos de los dispositivos antes de instalar las baterías.

- Quite las pilas del equipo cuando no lo vaya a usar por un período de tiempo prolongado

• Reemplace las pilas que estén agotadas

- No mezcle pilas nuevas y viejas. No mezcle pilas

- No deseche las baterías usadas en contenedores de basura de la casa. Comuniquese con el gobierno local para informarse sobre las prácticas de reciclaje o de desecho de su zona.

INSTRUCCIONES DE LIMPIEZA/

MANTENIMIENTO

Si el fusible de repuesto (5 amperios, 125 voltios) se daña, ordene uno nuevo al 1-800-253-2764. Siga las siguientes instrucciones para reemplazar el fusible en la clavija.

FUSIBLE REEMPLAZABLE

Siga estas instrucciones para cuidar su ventilador de forma correcta y segura. Recuerde:

Instrucciones de Mantenimiento para el Usuario 1. Desconecte el ventilador. Sujete el enchufe y retirelo del receptáculo o cualquier otro dispositivo de toma eléctrica. Nunga desconecte inlando el cable

1. Abra la cobertura del fusible, ubicada en la parte superior del enchufe, utilizando su pulgar o un destornillador plano para deslizar la cubierta hacia abajo en dirección de las puntas.

NOTA: asegúrese que la cubierta del fusible esté completamente abierta antes de intentar retirar el fusible.

1. Retire el fusible con cuidado utilizando un destornillador pequeño para hacer palanca en la extremos metálicos del fusible y sacarlo del compartimiento. (ver Figura 1)

2. Coloque el enchufe en una superficie plana y sólida. Inserte un fusible nuevo de 5 amperios y 125 voltios en el compartimiento del fusible y utilice un destornillador para asegurar los extremos metálicos del fusible en el compartimiento.

ADVERTENCIA: riesgo de fuego. Reemplace el fusible con otro de 5 amperios y 125 voltios solamente.

1. Deslice la cubierta del fusible de nuevo hasta cerrarla completamente. Si se presenta alguna dificultad al cerrar la cubierta, asegúrese de que el fusible esté puesto en su lugar correctamente, haciendo presión en los extremos metálicos del fusible.

2. Peligro de incendio. No reemplace el enchufe de conexión. Cuenta con un dispositivo de seguridad (fusible) que no debería quitarse. Deseche el producto si el enchufe de conexión está dañado.

LIMPIEZA DEL VENTILADOR

- Siempre desenchufe el ventilador antes de limpiarlo o desarmarlo

- No permita que se derrame agua sobre o dentro de

la cubierta del motor.

- Limpie el ventilador con un trapa suave humedecido en una solución de agua con jabón suave. - No utilice ninguno de los siguientes productos como limpiador: Gasolina, solvente o bencina.

Limpie la rejilla, la carcasa y la base con un paño suave y húmedo. NO INTENTE QUITAR LAS PALAS DEL VENTILADOR. Tenga cuidado alrededor de la cubierta del motor. No permita que el motor u otros componentes eléctricos entren en contacto con agua.

PARA ALMACENAR EL VENTILADOR Cuando guarde el ventilador fuera de temporada, es importante mantenerlo en un lugar seco y seguro. Es importante proteger el cabezal del ventilador del polvo. Recomendamos especialmente utilizar la caja original de compra.
