Comment régler l'heure et la date sur la YEMA Superman GMT ?

Dévissez la couronne (position neutre). Tirez-la à fond (position 2) pour régler l'heure. Poussez-la à mi-course (position 1) pour régler la date en tournant dans le sens horaire. Revissez la couronne après réglage.

Comment utiliser la fonction GMT ?

L'aiguille GMT indique un second fuseau horaire sur 24h. Réglez-la indépendamment de l'aiguille des heures en tournant la couronne en position 2 (tirée à fond) dans le sens antihoraire. Lisez le deuxième fuseau sur la lunette 24h ou sur les index.

Quelle est l'étanchéité de la Superman GMT ?

Elle est étanche jusqu'à 100 mètres (10 ATM). Convient pour la natation, le snorkeling, mais pas pour la plongée profonde avec bouteilles.

Comment remonter manuellement ma montre automatique ?

Dévissez la couronne. En position neutre (non tirée), tournez-la dans le sens horaire environ 20 à 30 rotations. Revissez la couronne. Le mouvement se remonte aussi automatiquement par le rotor.

Puis-je porter la montre en nageant ?

Oui, l'étanchéité 100 m permet la nage en surface et le snorkeling. Rincez-la à l'eau douce après contact avec l'eau salée et séchez-la.

Comment régler la lunette tournante ?

La lunette unidirectionnelle se tourne uniquement dans le sens antihoraire pour éviter le décalage accidentel. Alignez le repère 12h avec l'aiguille des minutes pour mesurer un temps écoulé.

Que faire si la montre s'arrête ?

Remontez-la manuellement (20-30 tours de couronne). Si elle ne redémarre pas, portez-la quelques heures pour remonter le ressort. Si le problème persiste, contactez un horloger.

Comment entretenir le verre saphir ?

Nettoyez délicatement avec un chiffon microfibre humide. Évitez les produits abrasifs. Le saphir est très résistant aux rayures mais peut se briser en cas de choc violent.

Où trouver des pièces détachées ou faire réviser la montre ?

Contactez un revendeur YEMA agréé ou le service après-vente YEMA. Les pièces comme couronne, verre, bracelet sont disponibles. Une révision tous les 3 à 5 ans est recommandée.

Comment changer le bracelet ?

Utilisez un outil à ressort adapté à la largeur de 19 mm. Insérez l'outil dans le trou pour comprimer la tige. Retirez l'ancien bracelet et installez le nouveau en alignant les trous. Veillez à bien clipser.

SCREWED-DOWN POSITION POSITION A

Your YEMA watch is equipped with a screw-down crown. A screw-down crown ensures waterproofness by sealing the crown to the case of the watch.

POSITION B MANUAL WINDING

Your YEMA watch is equipped with a self-winding mechanical movement, this means is wound automatically by wrist movements alone. To ensure optimum winding, wear your watch daily.

Before you first use the watch or if unworned for a long period of time, you will need to wind it manually by unscrewing the crown and then turning it clockwise.

REFERENCE TIME SETTING POSITION D

To set the reference time, unscrew the crown and then pull it out to POSITION D. The seconds hand is stopped, allowing you to set the time to the precise second.

Put the bezel in the neutral position (align the triangle on the bezel with the 12 o'clock marker on the dial).

Set the reference time using the 24-hour hand that moves in increments of 30 minutes (against the graduations on the bezel) and the minute hand (against the graduations on the dial) by turning the crown in either direction.

Setting the reference time also moves the conventional hour hand (local time). For this reason, the reference time must be set before setting the local time.

POSITION C LOCAL TIME SETTING

When travelling, to adjust local time only (without affecting the 24-hour reference time display), unscrew the crown and then pull it out to the first notch (POSITION C).

Set the local time by turning the crown clockwise. The hour hand moves in increments of one hour. The date is linked to local time and changes automatically when the hour hand passes midnight.

Push in and then screw down the crown.

POSITION C RAPID DATE SETTING

If your YEMA watch is equipped with a date, to adjust the date, unscrew the crown and pull it out to the second notch. Then simply turn it anti-clockwise until the desired date appears in the window. During this operation, your watch will keep running.

IMPORTANT: Do not make date adjustments when the time on the watch reads between the hours of 9:00pm and 3:00am. The reason is that although a date makes its changeover close to midnight, the gears that make that change happen to engage quite a bit earlier. It takes extra time to disengage completely in the aftermath.

BEZEL-LOCK MECHANISM

As an extra safety measure, YEMA developed a proprietary bezel-lock mechanism in the 1960s, which is still used nowadays and brings a unique look to the Superman Collection.

BEZEL THIRD TIME ZONE

A third time zone can be displayed by using the rotatable bezel and the 24-hour hand. It is based on the reference time.

To display the third time zone, unscrew the crown to POSITION B to unlock the bezel then turn the bezel anti-clockwise according to the time difference between the reference time (24-hour hand) and the time in the desired time zone.

The 24-hour hand read against the bezel indicates the time in the third time zone. The minutes are shown on the dial by the minute hand.

To return to the reference time display, turn the bezel anti-clockwise to place the triangle on the bezel opposite the 12 o'clock marker on the dial. To finish, screw-down the crown to POSITION A.

MAINTENANCE

OF YOUR YEMA WATCH

A YEMA watch requires little maintenance. However, some precautions must be taken to ensure the durability of your YEMA:

• Ensure that the crown is perfectly screwed down after winding up the movement and/or setting the time and the date. Once the crown is fully screwed down against the case, your YEMA watch is guaranteed waterproof.
• Avoid activities that may expose your watch movement to shocks.
• Never use chemicals to clean your YEMA watch. Use a microfibre cloth and wash the metal, rubber, fabric bracelets and waterproof cases from time to time with a soft brush and soapy water. We recommend that you do not use abrasive or corrosive products (solvents, detergents, perfume, etc.).
  · Always rinse your watch with fresh water after it's been exposed to salt water.
