You will need the following equipment to complete the splashback installation satisfactorily

• A pencil or marker
• A rule
• A drill
  • A 7 mm masonry drill
  • A cross point screwdriver
• Rawl plugs and screws or; if fixing to a hollow construction plaster for special plasterboard using screws or plugs.

In order to omt to the splash back at the correct height to the cooker must rmst beo installed to set to the correct height and levelled.

If the cooker has a short cooker splashback fitted remove it. It can be remtted later if required.

Move the cooker forward. Measure down38mm from the your marks and draw a line.

This dimension will position the splash plate as shown in 1y.

If you want to mount the splashback lower as in 2y please be aware that you will have to move the cooker forwards.

Hold the splashback position with bottom edge level with the lower line.

Mark the position of the mxing holes on the wall.

At least 6 screws must be used to hold the splashback—3 at the top and 3 at the bottom.

Remove the splashback and drill the wall using a 7 mm masonry bit. Using suitable orawl plugs and screws secure the splashback into position.

The vitreous enamelled surface can normally be cleaned using clean hot water and a liquid detergent. For any stubborn stains, use an nylon scouring pad or well moistened soap pad.
