PLEASE CHARGE YOUR AIRSTASH PRIOR TO USING WIRELESSLY

TO ENJOY THE FULL CAPABILITIES OF YOUR AIRSTASH, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR DEVICE HAS THE LATEST OS UPDATES

MEMORY CARD INSERTION & REMOVAL

1. To use AirStash, install the memory card into the AirStash slot. The slot is a push-in push-out type. Push it all the way in until it "clicks."
2. To remove, push the card in and release, then remove the card.
3. Please make sure your AirStash is off before removing the memory card to avoid possibly corrupting the data content on the card.

CHARGING

1. Plug AirStash directly into your computer, a USB wall adapter, or a powered USB hub.
2. AirStash will indicate charging by a gradual pulsing ("feeding") light.
3. Allow AirStash to charge fully. AirStash is fully charged by the absence of the feeding light. Typically charging is complete in 2 hours, but may take longer if AirStash wireless is on, the USB power source is inadequate, or AirStash is too hot or too cold.
4. Unplug AirStash. Note that if AirStash is plugged into a USB power adapter (not a computer), AirStash can be left charging and wireless can be turned on and enjoyed. This allows AirStash to function for an indefinite amount of time, e.g., long car rides.

AIRSTASH APP WIRELESS ACCESS (check with your device app store to see if there is an AirStash app available)

1. Download & install AirStash app for your device.
2. Turn on AirStash by pressing & holding button until the indicator light turns on, then release to see 3 rapid blinks.
3. Connect your device to AirStash network through WiFi settings (similar to connecting to your home WiFi network).
4. Launch the app.

AIRSTASH BROWSER WIRELESS ACCESS (WHEN NO APP IS AVAILABLE)

1. Turn on AirStash by pressing & holding button until the indicator light turns on, then release to see 3 rapid blinks.
2. Connect your device to AirStash network through WiFi settings (similar to connecting to your home WiFi network).
3. Launch the internet browser on your device.
4. Type AirStash.net in the address bar.
5. Access AirStash file access and settings. Note that functionality is browser and device dependent.

AIRSTASH COMPUTER USB ACCESS

1. Plug AirStash into your computer (no need to press the AirStash button).
2. Wait for AirStash to show up on your desktop as a regular USB drive.
3. Drag & Drop files as you wish.
4. When done, eject/dismount the AirStash drive.
5. Unplug AirStash from your computer.

AIRSTASH WEBDAV WIRELESS ACCESS (THIRD PARTY APPS)

1. Turn on AirStash by pressing & holding button until the indicator light turns on, then release to see 3 rapid blinks.
2. Connect your device to AirStash network through WiFi settings (similar to connecting to your home WiFi network).
3. Launch the WebDAV compatible app of your choice (not included).
4. (First time only) Configure the app's WebDAV settings to point to AirStash.
5. You can now use your app with AirStash.

STOPPING USE OF AIRSTASH

1. When you ready to stop use of your AirStash you can manually turn it off by holding down the button until you see 3 rapid indicator flashes, then release the button. The indicator should now be off. Your AirStash is now off.
2. AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF: If no devices communicate with AirStash for 30 minutes, AirStash will automatically turn off.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• AirStash by default provides open WiFi access to most devices. Please connect to AirStash wirelessly to access security settings.
• Up to 8 devices can connect to AirStash simultaneously.
• Up to 3 SD video streams are supported simultaneously or 1 HD video stream. It may take some time before video plays.
• Note that in the presence of many wireless devices, access speed to AirStash may slow down or be blocked.
• Note that AirStash will serve all file types. It is up to the connected device to perform an action on that file. In other words, if your device or app can natively stream a file type from the internet it will most likely work streaming from your AirStash. If your device cannot stream the file, it may instead download the file to your device.

WARRANTY & COMPLIANCE

This product comes with 2 years warranty. Maxell's only obligation shall be to replace such quantity of the product proved to be defective in material or workmanship upon receipt. The user shall determine the suitability of product for intended use, and assume all risk and liability in connection therewith.

This product is not intended to be used within any jurisdiction where the proper governmental authorizations are not in place.
