Comment utiliser le moulin à café Cuisinart DCG-12BC ?

Retirez le couvercle, remplissez le bol en acier inoxydable de grains jusqu'au repère souhaité (ne pas dépasser la ligne max). Replacez le couvercle, branchez l'appareil et appuyez sur le bouton marche/arrêt en le maintenant enfoncé jusqu'à l'obtention de la mouture désirée. Relâchez le bouton pour arrêter.

Non, cet appareil est conçu uniquement pour les grains de café torréfiés. Moudre des noix, épices ou grains non torréfiés peut émousser la lame et endommager l'appareil.

Comment nettoyer le moulin à café ?

You are a consumer if you are the owner of a Cuisinart ^® Grind Central ^® Stainless Coffee Grinder that was purchased at retail for personal, family, or household use. Except as otherwise required by applicable state law, this warranty is not available to retailers or other commercial purchasers or owners.

We warrant that should your Cuisinart ^® Grind Central ^® Stainless Coffee Grinder prove to be defective within the warranty period, we will repair it or replace it at our option, without charge to you. To obtain warranty service, simply call our toll-free number: 800-726-0190, for additional information from our Consumer Service Representatives, or send the product to Consumer Service at Cuisinart, 150 Milford Road, Fast Windsor, New Jersey 08520. GRINDING SUGGESTIONS

Some general guidelines for grinding are listed below. However, times will vary depending upon the amount of coffee used and your personal preference. To determine the right grind consistencies, experiment with different grinds and coffee types to suit your taste.

MEASUREMENT SUGGESTIONS

For the richest coffee flavor, we suggest using one rounded tablespoon of ground coffee for every 5 ounces of water.

The measurement markings in the grinder bowl indicate reference measurements. Fill beans to the marking level indicated by number of cups desired.

For example, when making automatic drip coffee, if you fill the bowl with beans to the maximum 18 cup marking, you will have enough ground coffee for 18 cups.

Note: These markings are approximate. Experiment with different quantities to determine what works best.

NOTICE:

This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Plug cord into outlet.
2. Remove lid from base of grinder.
3. Fill stainless steel bowl with desired quantity of beans. Measure beans in bowl using measurement markings. Do not fill beans above the "max" fill line at top of the stainless steel bowl (max fill is equal to 90 grams).
4. Make sure the grinding bowl is in the locked position, then place the lid onto grinder base.
5. Press and hold on/off button to begin grinding. Please note: A safety feature of this grinder does not allow it to operate unless the lid is in place.
6. Grind until beans are ground to desired consistency. To stop grinding, release pressure from on/off button.
7. Remove plug from outlet.
8. Measure coffee as desired. See measurement suggestions on reverse.
9. To store unused ground coffee, remove grinding bowl and cover with storage lid. Refrigerate.

CLEANING/STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS

1. Be sure that grinder's electric plug has been removed from outlet.
2. All removable parts are dishwasher-safe on the top rack. Do not put parts on bottom shelf. Never immerse the grinder base unit in water or other liquid.
3. Store excess cord by pushing a section at a time into the cord storage area in the base of the unit.
