Quick Start Guide

Product

This remote key finder can help you find your lost keys, remotes, purse, glasses, can or other easily lost items quickly. With just one press on the colour coded button, the beeping sound and flashing light will lead you to your misplaced items.

The unique remote key finder also has an LED flashlight. The ON/OFF switch is located on the right side of the transmitter, which allows you to turn the LED light on and off easily. This becomes extremely handy when you need to find something in the dark.

The key finder with the base support is designed to not look out of place on a table, bench or shelf. The transmitter can be removed from the base and used while searching for lost items.

Transmitter

Requires 2 x AAA 1.5V batteries (not included)

1. Remove the battery door located on the back of the transmitter.
2. Install the batteries according to the (+) and (-) marks inside the battery compartment.
3. Push the battery door back into place.

Receiver

Each receiver requires one CR2032 button cell battery (included)

1. Using a small coin, insert in the slot on the battery cover, then unscrew it in the direction as indicated by the arrow.
2. Put the battery into the battery compartment, making sure the "+" side of the battery is facing upwards.
3. Replace the battery cover and securely screw it into place.

Note: when the battery power is low, the receiver will give out a low beep sound repeatedly, indicating that the battery needs to be changed immediately.

WARNING - KEEP BATTERIES OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN

• Swallowing may lead to serious injury in as little as 2 hours or death, due to chemical burns and potential perforation of the oesophagus.
• If you suspect your child has swallowed or inserted a button battery immediately call the 24-hour Poisons Information Centre on 13 11 26 for fast, expert advice.
• Examine devices and make sure the battery compartment is correctly secured, e.g. that the screw or other mechanical fastener is tightened. Do not use if compartment is not secure.
• Dispose of used button batteries immediately and safely. Flat batteries can still be dangerous.
• Tell others about the risk associated with button batteries and how to keep their children safe.

Do not mix alkaline, zinc or rechargeable batteries with each other.

Operation

1. Attach the colour coded receivers to your frequently lost items with the key rings or via the double-sided adhesive tape.
2. Press and release the corresponding colour coded button on the transmitter.
3. If the receiver is within range (15 metres), it will beep while the LED indicator flashes.
4. If no beeps are heard, change your location or insert new batteries, then try pressing the button again.
