Welke montagemogelijkheden zijn er voor de CDA KC42 gootsteen?

De CDA KC42 kan zowel als bovenbouw (over mounting) als onderbouw (under mounting) worden geïnstalleerd. Volg de bijgeleverde instructies en gebruik het papieren sjabloon voor de juiste uitsnede.

Heb ik speciaal gereedschap nodig voor de installatie?

U heeft een puzzel of frees nodig om het werkblad uit te snijden, transparante silicone voor de afdichting, en eventueel houtblokken en epoxylijm bij stenen werkbladen voor de beugels.

Hoe lang moet ik wachten voordat ik de gootsteen kan gebruiken na installatie?

Na installatie moet u minimaal 24 uur wachten voordat u de gootsteen gebruikt. Dit geeft de silicone de tijd om volledig uit te harden en een waterdichte afdichting te garanderen.

Wat moet ik doen als de afdichting lekt?

Controleer of de silicone gelijkmatig is aangebracht en of er geen openingen zijn. Verwijder de oude silicone, breng opnieuw een royale laag aan en druk de gootsteen stevig aan. Wacht opnieuw 24 uur.

Kan ik de gootsteen in een stenen of granieten werkblad monteren?

Ja, voor steen/graniet werkbladen worden houtblokken aanbevolen om de beugels te bevestigen. Gebruik epoxylijm volgens de instructies van de fabrikant om de blokken te bevestigen.

Hoe reinig ik de roestvrijstalen gootsteen het beste?

Gebruik een milde zeep en een zachte doek. Vermijd schurende reinigingsmiddelen of staalwol, omdat deze krassen kunnen veroorzaken. Spoel na met schoon water en droog af.

Zijn er reserveonderdelen beschikbaar voor de CDA KC42?

De gootsteen wordt geleverd met 3 metalen beugels. Mocht u extra beugels nodig hebben, neem dan contact op met de klantenservice van CDA voor reserveonderdelen.

Wat is de garantie op de CDA KC42?

De garantie vervalt bij onjuiste installatie, verkeerd gebruik of commercieel gebruik. Raadpleeg de handleiding voor de volledige garantievoorwaarden.

Moet ik de randen van het werkblad na het uitsnijden afwerken?

Ja, bij onderbouwmontage wordt aangeraden de snijrand van het werkblad naar wens af te werken. Bij bovenbouwmontage wordt de rand afgedekt door de gootsteenrand.

Kan ik de gootsteen ook zonder de beugels monteren?

Het wordt sterk aanbevolen de meegeleverde metalen beugels te gebruiken voor extra stabiliteit. Zonder beugels kan de gootsteen verschuiven of onvoldoende ondersteund worden.

Over Mounting

1. Place the paper template provided carefully into the correct position on the worktop.
2. Cut along the over mount line until the central section of the worktop comes out.
3. Use clear silicone to seal the cut that has been made; liberally spread the silicone onto the area of the worktop directly adjacent to the hole you have made to the width of the sink rim that it will come into contact with.
4. Repeat step 3 on the under side of the sink rim itself on the surface that will come into contact with the worktop.
5. Carefully position so that you avoid unnecessary readjustment of the sink at the moment of contact.
6. Press down firmly and hold in position for at least 5 minutes applying an even pressure.
7. Ensure the sink is fully sealed and the joint is waterproof by squeezing residual silicone out from along the line of the joint.
8. Do not use the sink for at least 24 hours once fitted.
9. After 24 hours check to ensure the seal is waterproof.

Under Mounting

1. Place the paper template provided carefully into the correct position on the worktop.
2. Cut along the under mount line until the central section of the worktop comes out.
3. Finish the worktop cut out edge to the desired standard.
4. Turn the worktop upside down on a flat, stable surface. Note this will need to be left in position for 24 hours.
5. Spread clear silicone liberally on the glazed surface on the rim of the sink ensuring no areas are left uncovered.
6. Spread clear silicone liberally on the underside of the worktop to the corresponding area where the rim of the sink will be in contact.
7. Press the sink down into the required position firmly for at least 5 minutes applying even pressure. Position a weight on the sink to keep it in place.
8. Ensure the sink is fully sealed and the joint is waterproof by squeezing residual silicone out from along the line of the joint.
9. Do not use the sink for at least 24 hours.
10. 3 metal brackets are provided which should be fixed along the front edge and one on each side; the edge of the bracket overlaps the sink rim and the other edge fixes to the worktop. If a stone/granite worktop is being used wooden blocks can be used to affix the clips to secure the sink; these should be fixed with an epoxy-type adhesive (follow manufacturers' instructions for Epoxy adhesive use).
