Come risolvere un inceppamento carta?

Aprire il coperchio anteriore e rimuovere con cautela la carta bloccata. Tirare il foglio nella direzione di uscita normale. Controllare inaltra aree di alimentazione. Richiudere il coperchio e riavviare la stampa.

Come sostituire la cartuccia del toner?

Aprire il coperchio superiore, estrarre la cartuccia esaurita agitandola leggermente. Inserire la nuova cartuccia compatibile OKI fino allo scatto. Chiudere il coperchio. La stampante esegue automaticamente la calibrazione.

Come collegare la stampante alla rete?

Utilizzare un cavo Ethernet per connettere la stampante al router o allo switch. Accendere la stampante, andare nel menu Rete e configurare l'indirizzo IP manualmente o tramite DHCP. Installare i driver selezionando connessione di rete.

Come installare i driver su Windows?

Scaricare l'ultimo driver dal sito OKI. Eseguire il file di installazione e scegliere 'Rete' o 'USB' a seconda della connessione. Seguire le istruzioni a schermo. Riavviare il PC al termine.

Come eseguire la stampa fronte/retro?

Nel driver di stampa, selezionare la scheda 'Base' o 'Layout'. Abilitare la stampa fronte/retro automatica (duplex). Assicurarsi che il vassoio carta supporti la grammatura utilizzata. Inviare il lavoro di stampa.

Come pulire i rulli di alimentazione?

Spegnere la stampante e aprire il coperchio. Rimuovere il vassoio carta. Usare un panno morbido inumidito con acqua distillata per pulire delicatamente i rulli. Lasciare asciugare completamente prima di reinserire il vassoio.

Come risolvere problemi di qualità di stampa?

Verificare la presenza di righe o macchie: eseguire una stampa di prova. Se necessario, pulire i tamburi con la funzione 'Pulizia tamburo' dal menu. Sostituire il toner se le aree appaiono sbiadite. Controllare anche la carta.

Come resettare la stampante?

Premere il pulsante 'Menu', navigare fino a 'Manutenzione' e selezionare 'Reset'. Scegliere 'Reset generale' per ripristinare le impostazioni di fabbrica. Confermare. La stampante si riavvierà automaticamente.

Come aggiornare il firmware?

Scaricare il file firmware dal sito OKI. Accedere alla stampante tramite browser web inserendo l'indirizzo IP. Andare su 'Manutenzione' > 'Aggiornamento firmware'. Selezionare il file e avviare l'aggiornamento. Non spegnere la stampante durante il processo.

Come smaltire correttamente la stampante?

Portare la stampante presso un centro di raccolta differenziata per apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche (RAEE). Separare le cartucce toner e smaltirle secondo le normative locali. Non gettare nei rifiuti domestici.

EMERGENCY FIRST AID

Take care with toner powder:

If swallowed, give small amounts of cold water and seek medical attention. DO NOT attempt to induce vomiting.

If inhaled, move the person to an open area for fresh air. Seek medical attention.

If it gets into the eyes, flush with large amounts of water for at least 15 minutes keeping eyelids open. Seek medical attention.

Spillages should be treated with cold water and soap to help reduce risk of staining skin or clothing.

INTRODUCTION

Congratulations on buying an Oki colour printer. Your new printer is designed with advanced features to give you clear, vibrant colour prints and crisp black and white pages at high speed on a range of print media for the office.

There are four different models available: C9650n, C9650dn, C9650hdn and C9650hdtn, where n denotes networking capability, d denotes duplex unit installed, h denotes hard disk drive installed and t denotes high capacity feeder installed.

FEATURES

The following features are standard on all models:

Up to 36 pages per minute in full colour for fast printing of high impact colour presentations and other documents
Up to 40 pages per minute in black and white for fast and efficient printing of all general purpose documents not requiring colour
1200 x 600 dpi (dots per inch) print resolution for high quality image production showing the finest detail
ProQ2400 multi level technology produces subtler tones and smoother gradations of colour to lend photographic quality to your documents
Single Pass Colour Digital LED technology for high speed processing of your printed pages
10Base-T, 100Base-TX and 1000Base-T network connection lets you share this valuable resource among users on your office network
USB 2.0 and parallel (IEEE-1284) interfaces
PCL, PS, IBM PPR, Epson FX emulations
"Ask Oki" – a user-friendly function that gives a direct link from your printer driver screen (but not illustrated in this guide) to a dedicated web site specific to the exact model you are using. This is where you will find all the advice, assistance and support you could need to help you get the best possible results from your Oki printer.

Additionally, the following optional features are available:

Automatic two-sided (duplex) printing for economical use of paper and compact printing of larger documents

Hard disk drive enables spooled and verified printing

PRINTING PAGES

1. From the toolbar, select File, then Print (or press the Ctrl + P keys).
2. Choose which pages you wish to print:

OPENING AND CLOSING THE TOP COVER

CAUTION!

To gain access to the inside of the printer, ensure that the top cover is fully opened.

To open the top cover, squeeze the top cover handle (1) to release the catch and raise the cover.

To close the top cover, push gently (1) until the cover stops midway and then push harder (2) to close the cover completely. Ensure that the cover is securely closed.
