Your ARISTON 15-liter electric water heater has two methods to turn it off, depending on your needs: a temporary stop or a complete stop.

Temporary stop (without cutting off the electricity): If your model is equipped with an external adjustment button (with a heating indicator light), you can stop the heating by turning this button counterclockwise to the minimum position. The indicator light goes out and the heating element stops heating. The water remains in the tank at its current temperature.

Complete stop (power cut): For a total and safe stop, go to your home's electrical panel and look for the circuit breaker dedicated to the water heater (usually identified or labeled). Switch this circuit breaker to the OFF position to completely cut off the power supply. This method is recommended if you plan to be away for an extended period or if you need to service the appliance.

Stopping the hot water supply: In case of prolonged use or before servicing, you can also close the shut-off valve of the hydraulic circuit (usually installed upstream of the appliance), or close the main valve of your home installation. Then open a hot water tap (sink, bathtub) and the drain tap (B on the diagram in the manual) to drain the water.

Before any intervention on the appliance, completely disconnect it from the electrical network using the external switch in the OFF position. Caution: the hot water supplied can exceed 50°C and cause severe burns immediately. Check the temperature before any use.
