"SAFE BOY" Residual Current Device for outdoor use
Art.no: 18-2033 Model: EMP200P-UK
32-8602
EMP200P
Works with different kinds of electrical devices such as electrical tools, washing machines, and boilers.
If there is an imbalance in the circuit current such as a leakage to earth the RCD automatically disconnects the current, thereby protecting the appliance and the operator from dangerous electrical shocks.
Connection
Connect the residual current device between the load and the wall socket (main power). 3G 1.5 mm ^2 flexible cable should be used. The residual current device also cuts the power if over-current would occur.
Function test
(1) Push the TEST button, the residual current device automatically cuts the power. The indicator is off.
(2) Push the RESET button, the residual current device is in use. The indicator is red.
Note!
If the indicator is off, the residual current device has cut the power (an imbalance in the current between the phase and neutral conductors has occurred or the residual current device is in TEST mode).
Warning!
- Perform a function test (see above) every time the residual current device is to be used. Contact the manufacturer if the residual current device shuts off repeatedly when connected to a load, or if it does not shut off when tested (see above).
- Remember that use of a residual current device is only a safety precaution. Handling electrical equipment improperly is potentially lethal. The use of the residual current device should not be seen as a substitute for basic electric safety.
- Make sure that the plugs are pointed down according to the label.
