To avoid risk of electric shock, please don't open the product. To prevent risk of fire or electric shock, don't expose this product to water and/or moisture.

- Before installing this unit please carefully read these instructions, and keep this owner's manual for future reference.
- WARNING: improper installation could irreparably damage the unit.
- Be careful that unit operation may not cause damage to people.
- Place the unit in a location protected from weather and far from water and moisture.
- Don't place this unit close to heat sources (radiators, spotlights, amplifiers etc.)
- Avoid any liquid entering inside the unit
• No user-serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to an authorized maintenance centre only.
Installation
- Insert two AA 1,5V batteries in battery compartment under the microphone base, respecting the polarity indicated inside the compartment.
Note: using Phantom power, batteries are not necessary. - Being careful about mounting direction, insert the gooseneck connector on microphone base surface XLR connector.
- Connect microphone base to an external unit (mixer, amplifier, etc.) using supplied cable. If the external unit microphone input can supply Phantom power, apply it to this microphone by switching Phantom power on.
Note: before connecting the microphone to the external unit, it must be turned off and with its volume settings at minimum. - First of all turn on the microphone, then the unit and adjust its volume do desired level.
- In order to obtain a perfect sound reproduction, the user should maintain a distance between 5 cm. (2") and 30 cm. (12") from microphone capsule.
Operating suggestions
- If the microphone is placed too close to speaker or its capsule is oriented towards a speaker, it could generate feedback (Larsen effect). Avoid placing the microphone too close to the speaker, and avoid orienting its capsule toward the speaker. IF, despite these practises, you hear feedback, please lower speaker volume.
- It's important to keep the anti-pop foam clean; foreign particles on the foam could modify frequency response. Periodically wash the anti-pop foam using warm water with mild soap, rinse the foam with clean water, then let the foam dry thoroughly before placing it again on the microphone.
- Due to the microphone's very high sensitivity, be careful the microphone isn't dropped and avoid shock, as it could be damaged.
- In order to maintain sensitivity and performance, avoid exposing the microphone to moisture or high temperatures.
- Use new batteries of high quality only; the use of discharged and/or low quality batteries could cause leakage of chemical substances that could damage the unit.
