Safety and Warning Information

1. Read the following instructions before using the kettle.
2. Recommended to connect the appliance directly to the AC mains power.
3. This kettle is designed to boil water. Heating or boiling of other kinds of liquid voids the warranty
4. Check if the power supply matches the specifications mentioned before use.
5. Insert plug to AC mains securely. Do not operate with wet hands or when the plug is wet.

1. Do not fill water beyond maximum capacity of the kettle. If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected. Spilled hot boiling water can cause bodily harm or result in short circuit.

2. Steam from boiling water can cause scalding. Be careful when handling kettle with freshly boiled water.

3. Always wipe and dry the surface of the kettle with a soft cloth before use.

4. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

5. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

6. Do not dry boil the kettle. Only use the kettle with the power base provided by the manufacturer.

10. The heating element's surface is subject to residual heat after use. Do not touch the surface and any hot parts of the appliance during use or immediately after use. It will be very hot!

Safety Precaution Information

Cleaning & Maintenance

1. Unplug from AC power socket. Allow the kettle to cool down before cleaning.
2. Clean the kettle and its base with a wet soft cloth.
3. Do not immerse the kettle in water.
4. Clean and dry the interior part of the kettle with mild cleaning agent.
5. Lime scale from various water sources will deposit on the heating element which then becomes less effective in its function. Descaling of the lime deposits is needed from time to time.
6. Lime scale is not harmful to health.
7. Descale the kettle regularly. Fill the kettle up to MAX with a mixture of one part ordinary vinegar and two parts of water. Boil the mixture, leave it overnight and discard the boiled water in the morning.
8. Repeat with clean water to remove the remaining scale and vinegar.
9. Rinse with clean water.

How To Use

1. Rinse the interior part of the kettle with clean water when using it for the first time.

2. The kettle must be filled with water before it is placed on the base.

3. Press the lid release button to open the lid.

1. Do not fill water beyond the MAX Level Mark. Fill at least 1 inch of water before boiling.

1. Close lid until a click sound is heard.

2. Place the Power Base on a flat surface.

3. Place the kettle on the Power Base. Ensure that the kettle sits properly into the Power Connector.

1. Ensure power ON/OFF button is at OFF position before connecting to the power supply.

2. Switch on Mains and press power ON/OFF button. The kettle will start to boil water.
