USER MANUAL GSJ150P GEMINI
Please remove all packaging material before use. You may wish to keep the packaging for future use or storage for your appliance. Alternatively, dispose accordingly.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
Read all of the instructions before using this appliance and keep safe for future reference. When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:
- This appliance is for domestic use only. Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.
- Do not handle the plug or appliance with wet hands.
- Do not immerse the main body in water.
- Do not touch moving parts.
- Do not insert objects into the appliance when operating. If food becomes lodged or blocked, switch off the appliance and unplug from the mains before attempting to clean.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance. - Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
• This product is not a toy. - Do not use the appliance if any parts appear to be faulty, missing or damaged.
- Do not leave the appliance unattended when connected to the mains supply.
- Do not operate the appliance when it is empty.
- Do not use fingers, rice ladle and cropsticks to pull the ingredients to the feed chute on the hopper.
- Always unplug from the mains supply before carrying out any cleaning, performing user maintenance or changing accessories.
- Switch off the appliance by the power switch before removing from the plug from the mains supply.
- Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers and all parts of the body away from openings of the appliance.
- Do not use the appliance if it has been dropped or damaged in any way.
- Check to ensure that the electricity supply matches that shown on the rating plate.
- Only use the attachments/accessories supplied with the product.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified service agent in order to avoid a hazard.
- Only use this appliance for its intended domestic use. We will not accept any liability if the appliance is subject to improper use, or failure to comply with these instructions.
- The parts and accessories are not suitable for cleaning in a dishwasher.

The maximum operating time is 15 minutes. Do not exceed this time or it will damage the motor.

ASSEMBLING YOUR SLOW JUICER
- Fit the juicing jug to the main unit.

- Fit the spinning rack into the juicing jug.

- Insert the strainer into the juicing jug and turn until it locates in position.

Always ensure the pulp outlet on the strainer housing is inserted into the pulp outlet in the bottom of the jug.

- Insert the squeezing screw into the strainer and turn until it locates in position.

Make sure the hexagon slot (A) of Squeezing Screw perfectly connect to the hexagon driving head (B) on juicing jug
- Fit the hopper to the top of the jug, aligning the arrows on the hopper and the jug.

Twist the hopper in clockwise direction on juicing jug until it both arrows are locked in right position.
There is a safety switch to protect the user. The unit will only start operation when the hopper is locked in place.
INSTALLATION OF RUBBER PLUG
Pull out the rubber plug an clean. After clean, re-install the rubber plug according to the diagram below.

- Put the hole on the rubber plug into the screw located in bottom of juicing jug. (Pic.1)
- Turn the rubber plug to clockwise. (Pic.2)
- Make sure the channel of pulp outlet is closed tightly. (Pic.3)
Caution: the rubber plug must be placed correctly. Otherwise, the jug will have leakage problem.
- Before first use, clean all removable parts in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Ensure that the slow juicer is correctly assembled.
- Position the pulp cup under the pulp outlet on the left of the unit and position the juice cup under the juice outlet on the right of the unit.
• Prepare your ingredients by cutting and de-seeding them if required.
- Plug the slow juicer into the mains socket.
- Insert your prepared ingredients into the feed chute on the hopper.
- Switch on the juicer with the switch at the rear of the unit.
- If there is a blockage in the juicer, stop the juicer immediately. The reverse function "R" can be used to help un-block and clear the obstruction. When the obstruction has been cleared, the parts should be cleaned thoroughly before using again.

O: Stop the operation
R: Reverse the operation
Do not attempt to juice hard materials such as seeds, pips, ice or frozen foods, this will damage the unit.
Always clean the juicer and the parts using the brush provided after each use.
Do not overfill the hopper. Insert food slowly to allow the juicer time to work. The pusher should only be used if food becomes lodged. Push down gently.

CLEANING
- Periodically clean the rubber parts of the spinning rack on the strainer.
- Thoroughly clean all parts immediately after use to maintain the performance of the product.
- Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasives to clean the parts of the juicer.
- Never clean the parts in a dishwasher as this will damage the parts.
- Rubber plug need to clean properly after use.
TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

| Staining on parts. This is | the natural color from juice. | This is normal. To reduce discolouration, ensure you rinse and clean the appliance immediately after use. |
| Squeaking noise when juicing. | Friction between the squeezing screw and bowl or food. | The squeaking sound is perfectly normal. Do not run the juicer without any food. |
| Too much pulp coming out with juice. | There is excess food in the bowl clogging the strainer. | Cut food, especially fibrous food into smaller pieces. |
