BEFORE FIRST USE

Remove all packaging material, appliance and accessories. Remove any transparencies, stickers, or paper. Check that the appliance and any part of it is not damaged.

WARNING: Before carrying out any of the following operations, make sure that the appliance is switched off, unplugged and contains little or no water.

Locking the handle in position/releasing the handle

To lock the handle to a vertical position, simply lift the handle until it clicks into place. Check the handle before using the steam mop. To release the handle and fold the appliance for storage, press the release button (3) on the handle and then gently lower the handle.

Attach the base to the main body until it clicks into place. The steam head can be removed from the main body of the appliance by pressing the release button on the back of the main body of the appliance. Then simply push the microfiber mop onto the bottom of the base.

Connecting the glider to the carpet

For easier movement of the steam mop on the carpet, we recommend attaching the plastic glider to the carpet. After attaching the microfiber mop, place the white plastic carpet glider on a flat surface with the open side facing up. The steam mop simply snaps into place by pushing into the glider. To remove the glider, carefully release the securing clips and the carpet glider will release.

FILLING THE WATER TANK

1st method of filling

Open the lid of the water tank and fill it with a plastic water measuring cup. Replace the cap and close it by turning it clockwise.

2nd method of filling

Remove the water tank from the main body by pressing the buttons on the side (8). Open the lid of the tank and pour water directly into it from the tap. Then replace the cap and close it by turning it clockwise. Insert the tray back into the main body until it clicks into place.

Do not add any cleaning agents, chemicals or perfume to the Water tank. To significantly reduce the formation of limescale and prolong the life of your steam mop, we recommend using distilled water for cleaning. NEVER overfill the water tank.

FLOOR CLEANING

Connect the appliance to a grounded socket.

  1. When the appliance is switched on, a red light comes on under the water tank (on the sides), which means preheating.
  2. Preheating takes approximately 20 seconds. When the steam mop is ready for use, the light turns blue and automatically releases steam. For this reason, it is important not to leave it unattended during the preheating process.
  3. When cleaning a surface contaminated with grease, oil, etc., it is also possible to add a cleaning agent to the hot steam. Open the Cleaning solution container cap (11), pour the cleaning solution into it, and then close the cleaning solution tank again. Press the cleaning solution drain button (10) to the ON position.
  4. The amount of steam discharged can be adjusted using the rotary knob of Steam discharge rate regulator (9).

CLEANING WITH A HANDHELD STEAM CLEANER

Press the release button (4) to remove the handheld steam cleaner from the main body.

natural_image Diagram showing a mechanical component labeled A and B, with an arrow indicating transformation from a cylindrical component to a threaded shaft (no text or symbols present)

Select the appropriate cleaning attachment (A) you want to use, place it on the adapter (B) and turn it clockwise to firmly lock both parts. Then insert the adapter (B) into the body of the handheld steam cleaner.

To remove the Adapter (B), press the gray button on the back of the handheld steam cleaner.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Make sure the steam mop is unplugged and completely cool.

  1. Drain the remaining water into the sink.
  2. The cleaning attachments can be washed in warm water with a small amount of dish soap if they are dirty.
  3. If necessary, wash the microfiber mop in warm soapy water, maximum 30 - 40°C, without bleach or fabric softener. Let it dry naturally, do not use the clothes dryer.

If your steam mop starts to produce steam more slowly than usual or stops producing steam completely, it may be the cause of limescale build-up. We recommend removing limescale regularly about once a month, depending on the hardness of the water and the frequency of use of the steam mop.

SOLUTION FOR LIMESCALE REMOVAL

  1. Prepare a solution: 1/3 white vinegar and 2/3 tap water and pour it into the water tank.
  2. Ensure that the released steam is not directed at the floor or surrounding objects and switch on the steam mop. Wait until all the water has been consumed, you can repeat this procedure several times until the steam flow is sufficient again.
  3. Rinse the water tank thoroughly.
  4. Fill the Water tank with clean water and repeat the steam release so that any residual cleaning solution is completely flushed from the steam mop.

NOTICE

Do not leave the steam mop unattended during the descaling process. After each descaling, carry out a test cleaning on a suitable insulated surface to make sure that no unwanted residues remain in the steam mop.

This appliance does not contain any serviceable internal components. Do not try to repair it yourself. Maintenance or repair that requires disassembly or any steps other than those specified in this user manual must be performed or approved by TESLA service department.
