Frequently Asked Questions - TCK30 Tisira

How do I install the Tisira TCK30 cooker?
Ensure proper ventilation and a 220-240V supply. The cooker must be installed by a qualified electrician. Refer to the installation manual for clearances and electrical connections.
How do I clean the hob?
Allow the hob to cool completely. Use a damp cloth with mild detergent. For stubborn stains, use a ceramic hob scraper after the surface has cooled.
How do I clean the oven?
Use a non-abrasive oven cleaner or a paste of baking soda and water. Do not use steel wool. The oven has an enamel coating that is easy to wipe.
What is the oven capacity and can I fit a turkey?
The oven capacity is 65 liters. A typical 12 lb (5.5 kg) turkey will fit comfortably. Use the fan forced function for even cooking.
How do I replace the oven light bulb?
Disconnect power. Remove the glass cover by turning counterclockwise. Replace with a 15W 300°C rated oven bulb. Reattach cover.
Why is the oven not heating?
Check if the timer is set correctly. Ensure the function selector is on a heat setting. If still no heat, the heating element may be faulty and needs replacement.
Can I use a gas connection?
The TCK30 is an electric cooker only. It does not support gas. Ensure your home has a suitable 220-240V outlet.
What does the child lock feature do?
The child lock disables the control knobs to prevent accidental operation by children. To activate, press and hold the lock button for 3 seconds until indicator lights up.
How do I set the timer?
Turn the timer knob to the desired time (up to 120 minutes). The oven will sound an alarm when time is up. For automatic shut-off, set both time and function.

CLEANING & CARE

ISSUE? SOLUTION IMPORTANT
Everyday soiling on glass (fingerprints, marks, stains left by food or non-sugary spillovers on the glass)1. Switch the power to the cooktop off.2. Apply a cooktop cleaner while the glass is still warm (but not hot!)3. Rinse and wipe dry with a clean cloth or paper towel.4. Switch the power to the cooktop back on.·When the power to the cooktop is switched off, there will be no 'hot surface' indication but the cooking zone may still be hot! Take extreme care.·Heavy-duty scourers, some nylon scourers and harsh/abrasive cleaning agents may scratch the glass. Always read the label to check if your cleaner or scourer is suitable.·Never leave cleaning residue on the cooktop: the glass may become stained.
Boilovers, melts, and hot sugary spills on the glassRemove these immediately with a fish slice, palette knife or razor blade scraper suitable for ceramic glass cooktops, but beware of hot cooking zone surfaces:1. Switch the power to the cooktop off at the wall.2. Hold the blade or utensil at a 30° angle and scrape the soiling or spill to a cool area of the cooktop.3. Clean the soiling or spill up with a dish cloth or paper towel.4. Follow steps 2 to 4 for 'Everyday soiling on glass' above.·Remove stains left by melts and sugary food or spillovers as soon as possible. If left to cool on the glass, they may be difficult to remove or even permanently damage the glass surface.·Cut hazard: when the safety cover is retracted, the blade in a scraper is razor-sharp. Use with extreme care and always store safely and out of reach of children.
