Frequently Asked Questions - BKK 3065 KM BEKO

How do I descale the Beko BKK 3065 KM coffee maker?
To descale, fill the water tank with a mixture of 1 part white vinegar and 2 parts water (or use a commercial descaling solution). Run a brewing cycle without coffee grounds. Repeat with fresh water until vinegar smell disappears. Descaling every 3 months prevents limescale buildup.
Why is my coffee weak or not hot enough?
Weak coffee may be due to using too coarse a grind or insufficient coffee grounds. Use a medium grind and 1-2 tablespoons per cup. If coffee is not hot, ensure the keep warm function is activated and the carafe is properly placed. Also, the heating element may need descaling.
How do I set the programmable timer?
Press the Timer button. Use the hour and minute buttons to set the desired brew time. Press the Timer button again to confirm. The indicator light will show the timer is set. The coffee maker will automatically start at the programmed time.
Can I use paper filters with this coffee maker?
Yes, the BKK 3065 KM is compatible with size #4 paper filters. It also includes a permanent mesh filter if you prefer to use that instead.
What does the descaling indicator mean?
The descaling indicator light turns on after a certain number of cycles to remind you to descale. When lit, descale the machine as soon as possible to maintain performance and avoid damage.
How do I clean the carafe and filter basket?
The carafe and filter basket are dishwasher safe (top rack recommended). Alternatively, wash with warm soapy water. Do not use abrasive cleaners. Rinse thoroughly before next use.
Why does the coffee maker stop brewing before finishing?
This may occur if the water tank is not properly seated or if the anti-drip valve is stuck. Ensure the carafe is placed correctly. Also, check for limescale blockage; descaling may resolve the issue.
What is the capacity of the water tank?
The water tank holds up to 1.25 liters, which brews approximately 10 cups of coffee (125 ml each). Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
How long does the keep warm function last?
The keep warm function automatically keeps the coffee hot for up to 2 hours, after which the machine shuts off. You can manually turn off the keep warm function earlier.
Where can I find spare parts for this model?
Spare parts such as carafe, filter basket, and water tank are available through Beko authorized service centers or online retailers. Check the Beko website or contact customer support for part numbers.
