Safety and General Information

- For indoor use only. Internal components are not sealed from the environment.

- Do not install the SurgeArrest where there is excessive heat or humidity.

  • Do not plug extension cords into the SurgeArrest.
  • Plug the unit into a 3 wire, 120 volt, grounded outlet. Verify the safety of the building wiring prior to connecting the unit to a wall outlet.
  • Never install electrical wiring during a lightning storm.

CAUTION: To reduce the risk of electrical shock, inspect the premises carefully. Do not use the unit if a proper equipment ground cannot be verified.

- This device will disconnect the surge protective component at the end of its useful life. It will not continue to supply power to connected equipment.
