How to clean the projector lens?

Turn off and unplug the projector, let it cool down. Use compressed air to remove dust, then a soft lens cloth. Do not use solvents or flammable products.

What to do if the image is blurry?

Turn the focus ring until you get a sharp image. Also check that the projector-to-screen distance is correct (see distance table in the manual).

The projector does not turn on, what to do?

Check that the power cable is properly plugged in and that the wall outlet is live. If the power indicator is solid red, press the Power button. In case of overheating, wait for the projector to cool down.

How to use the 3D function?

Wear compatible DLP-Link glasses. Enable 3D mode in the menu (Image > 3D > 3D Mode). Set the 3D format (side-by-side, top-bottom, etc.) according to your content. The frame rate must be 60 Hz.

Can I install the projector on the ceiling?

Yes, use an Optoma ceiling mount kit with M4 x 10 mm screws. Leave at least 10 cm between the ceiling and the projector for proper ventilation. Make sure the installation is secure.

How to connect an HDMI device?

Connect an HDMI cable between the device (Blu-ray player, console, etc.) and one of the HDMI 1 or HDMI 2 ports on the projector. Then select the corresponding source via the Source menu or remote control.

How to adjust keystone correction?

In the menu Display > Geometric Correction, adjust vertical (V) and horizontal (H) keystone to straighten the image. You can also use the Four Corners function for precise adjustment.

What is the lifespan of the light source?

The laser source has a very long lifespan (typically 20,000 hours or more). The projector automatically detects wear and displays information in the Info menu.

How to reset the projector to factory settings?

Go to menu Setup > Reset to Default Settings and confirm. This restores all image, display, and setup settings.

The remote control does not work, what to do?

Check the batteries (AAA type): insert them correctly or replace them. Make sure no obstacle is blocking the projector's IR sensor (range max 6 m, angle ±15°). Move fluorescent lights away.
