How to turn the OPTOMA ZH520 projector on and off?

Press the Power button on the top of the projector or on the remote control. To turn off, press Power twice (or hold down depending on setting). Wait for the fan to stop before unplugging.

What is the maximum supported resolution?

The projector has a native Full HD (1920x1080) resolution and can accept up to 4K signals via HDMI (compressed).

How to connect my computer to the projector?

Use an HDMI or VGA cable (depending on your computer). Connect one end to the PC, the other to the projector. Select the corresponding source using the Source button.

Can I use a USB flash drive to project images?

Yes, insert a USB flash drive into the USB-A port and use the Media menu to play compatible photos, videos or audio files.

How to clean the air filter?

Turn off the projector and unplug it. Remove the filter cover (located on the side). Use a vacuum cleaner on low power to clean the filter. Do not wash the filter with water. Put it back in place.

What to do if the image is distorted?

Use the keystone correction in the Settings menu or press the Keystone buttons on the remote. You can also move the projector so that it is perpendicular to the screen.

Can the projector play 3D videos?

Yes, the ZH520 is 3D Ready. You must use compatible active 3D glasses and a 3D source (Blu-ray player, etc.). Activate 3D mode in the Display menu.

How to adjust focus and zoom?

Turn the focus ring located around the lens for sharpness. Use the zoom ring to adjust the image size without moving the projector.

What is the lifespan of the laser light source?

The laser module has an estimated lifespan of 30,000 hours in normal mode, which corresponds to about 10 years of daily use of 8 hours.

Where can I find the serial number?

The serial number is on a label located under the projector. It can also be displayed in the projector's Information menu.
