How to clean the air filter of the projector?

Turn off the device and unplug it. Open the filter cover on the side, remove the filter and clean it with a vacuum cleaner or soapy water. Rinse and let it dry completely before reinstalling. Replace the filter every 6 months.

What is the lifespan of the laser light source?

The laser source of the Optoma ZH430UST has a nominal lifespan of 30,000 hours in standard mode, which represents about 10 years of daily use of 8 hours.

Can I install the projector on the ceiling?

Yes, the device can be ceiling mounted using a compatible mount. Make sure the mount supports the weight of 11 kg and respect the safety distances for ventilation.

How to connect a device via HDMI?

Connect an HDMI cable between the source (computer, console, etc.) and one of the HDMI inputs of the projector. Select the corresponding input in the Source menu. The ZH430UST supports HDMI 2.0 with HDCP 2.2 for protected 4K content.

Does the projector automatically display a rectangular image?

The projector features automatic digital keystone correction in vertical and horizontal directions. It can also automatically adjust focus and framing thanks to the Auto Geometry function.

Can I use the projector with a 120-inch screen?

Yes, the ultra short throw ratio of 0.25:1 allows projecting a 120-inch diagonal image by placing the device about 30 cm from the screen.

What to do if the image is blurry?

First check the focus by turning the manual focus ring or using the Auto Focus function. Also ensure the device is perpendicular to the screen and the projection distance is correct. Clean the lens if necessary.

How to reduce fan noise?

Use the Economic mode (Eco) in the lamp settings menu. This reduces brightness to about 70% and lowers noise level to 28 dB, which is very quiet for a projector.

Does the projector support HDR content?

Yes, the ZH430UST is compatible with HDR10 and HLG. It automatically adapts dynamic rendering for HDR content. Make sure to use an HDMI 2.0 cable and a compatible source.

How to reset factory settings?

Go to the Settings menu, then select 'Reset Settings'. Confirm to restore all default settings. A full reset can be done via the Advanced Options menu.
