How to connect a computer to the ZH401e projector?

Use an HDMI or VGA cable to connect the computer to the corresponding input on the projector. Then select the appropriate source via the menu or remote control.

How to clean the projector air filter?

Turn off the projector and unplug it. Open the filter cover, remove the filter, and tap it to remove dust. You can also use a vacuum cleaner. Replace the filter every 500 hours of use.

What to do if the image is distorted or tilted?

Use Keystone correction via the OSD menu or dedicated buttons on the remote control. Adjust the vertical and horizontal values until the image is rectangular.

How to replace the laser light source?

The laser source is designed to last up to 30,000 hours. In case of failure, contact an authorized OPTOMA service center. Do not attempt to replace the module yourself.

The projector does not turn on, what to do?

Check that the power cable is properly connected and the power outlet works. Make sure the power button is pressed. If the indicator flashes red, refer to the error codes section in the manual.

Can I use the projector with a mobile device?

Yes, you can connect a smartphone or tablet via an HDMI adapter or using a wireless dongle (not included). Refer to the manual for wireless connectivity options.

How to adjust the image sharpness?

Turn the focus ring located around the lens until the image is sharp. You can also display a test pattern in the menu to assist with adjustment.

Does the projector heat up normally?

Yes, the projector generates heat during operation. Ensure the vents are not blocked and the device is placed in a well-ventilated area. If the temperature becomes excessive, the projector will shut down automatically.

How to activate Eco mode to save energy?

Press the 'Mode' or 'Eco' button on the remote control. You can also go to the 'Settings' menu > 'Lamp Mode' and select 'Eco'. This reduces brightness and extends the lifespan of the light source.

Where to find the projector serial number?

The serial number is located on a label under the projector or on the back near the connectors. It will be required for any technical support or warranty requests.
