How to install the OPTOMA ZH400 projector?

Place the projector on a stable surface, at a distance from the screen between 1.5 and 7.6 meters depending on the desired image size. Connect HDMI or VGA cables to your sources, then plug in the power. Turn on the projector by pressing the Power button.

How to adjust focus and zoom?

Use the focus ring on the lens to adjust sharpness. The manual zoom (1.1x ratio) allows you to adjust the image size without moving the projector.

What to do if the image is distorted (keystone)?

Enable keystone correction in the OSD menu. You can correct vertical and horizontal distortion up to ±30 degrees.

How to clean the air filter of the ZH400?

Turn off the projector and unplug it. Open the filter cover (usually on the side or back), remove the filter and clean it with a vacuum cleaner or warm soapy water. Dry it completely before reinstalling.

Is the laser light source replaceable?

The laser light source of the ZH400 has a lifespan of 30,000 hours. Unlike traditional lamps, it is not designed to be replaced by the user. In case of failure, contact an authorized service.

How to connect a PC or Mac to the projector?

Use an HDMI cable for digital connection or a VGA cable for analog connection. The projector automatically detects the selected source. If necessary, press the Source button on the remote control.

Can I project in 3D with this projector?

Yes, the ZH400 supports DLP-Link 3D. You must wear DLP-Link 3D glasses and activate 3D mode in the OSD menu. The video source must be 3D compatible.

How to reduce projector noise?

Enable Eco mode in the lamp menu. This reduces brightness but also lowers noise level to approximately 29 dB, compared to 34 dB in normal mode.

What is the maximum supported image size?

The ZH400 can project an image from 30 to 300 inches diagonal. The optimal projection distance varies depending on the desired size. Refer to the projection table in the manual.

How to reset the projector to factory settings?

Go to the OSD menu, select 'Setup' then 'Reset settings'. Confirm the operation. The projector will restart with default settings.
