How to replace the lamp on the OPTOMA X605e projector?
Turn off the projector and unplug it. Let it cool for 30 minutes. Remove the lamp cover using a screwdriver, unscrew the old lamp, insert the new one and screw it back. Replace the cover and reset the lamp counter via the menu.
Why is the projected image blurry?
Use the focus ring on the lens. Also check that the projection distance is appropriate and that the keystone correction settings are correct.
How to clean the air filter?
Turn off the projector and unplug it. Open the filter compartment, remove the filter, clean it with a vacuum cleaner or rinse with warm water (mild soap) and dry completely before reinstalling.
The projector won't turn on, what should I do?
Make sure the power cord is properly connected and the outlet works. Ensure the lamp is correctly installed. If the indicator light flashes, refer to the manual for the error code.
How to connect a computer to the projector?
Use a VGA or HDMI cable depending on available outputs. Connect the cable to the projector and the computer, then select the corresponding source via the Source button on the remote control or control panel.
What is the lamp life?
In normal mode, about 3,500 hours. In eco mode, up to 5,000 hours. Remember to check the lamp counter in the menu to schedule replacement.
How to adjust the image size?
Use the zoom ring to enlarge or reduce the image. Move the projector closer or farther from the screen to adjust size. Refer to the projection distance table in the manual.
What if the image is upside down?
Access the OSD menu, go to Display Settings > Projection and choose the appropriate mode: front, rear, ceiling front, ceiling rear.
Can I use the projector without the remote control?
Yes, the control panel on the projector allows access to most functions: power on, source selection, menu navigation.
How to reset to factory settings?
In the OSD menu, go to Settings > Reset All. Confirm with Enter. The projector will restart with default settings.
