How to replace the lamp of the OPTOMA X340 projector?

Turn off the projector and unplug it. Let cool for 30 minutes. Open the lamp compartment on the side, unscrew the old lamp and replace it with a new one (model BL-FG220A). Close and reset the lamp counter in the menu.

How to clean the air filter?

Turn off and unplug the projector. Locate the filter on the side, remove it and gently vacuum the dust with a vacuum cleaner. If very dirty, wash with warm soapy water, rinse and dry completely before reinstalling.

My projector displays a blurry image, what should I do?

Check focus by turning the focus ring on the lens. Also ensure that the projection distance is correct and that the lens is clean.

How to connect my computer to the projector?

Use an HDMI or VGA cable. Connect one end to the computer and the other to the corresponding input on the projector. Select the correct source using the Source button on the remote control.

The projector does not turn on, standby light flashes?

Check that the power cord is properly plugged in and that the lamp is correctly installed. If the light flashes rapidly, it may indicate overheating: let it cool down and clean the air filter.

How to use keystone correction?

Press the Keystone button on the remote control. Use the up/down arrows to adjust vertical distortion until you get a rectangular image.

What is the lamp life?

In normal mode, about 5000 hours; in eco mode, up to 10,000 hours. Replace the lamp when the image becomes dim or a message is displayed.

Can I project without a video cable?

Yes, the projector supports PC-less presentation via a USB port: insert a USB drive containing images or a compatible PDF file, then select the USB source in the menu.

How to reset the lamp counter?

Go to the OSD menu, Settings section, then Lamp Counter. Select 'Reset' after changing the lamp. Confirm the operation.

No sound from the built-in speaker, what should I do?

Check that the volume is not set to zero in the audio menu. Confirm that the audio source is connected to the audio input (if using VGA). If using HDMI, audio is included.
