How to replace the lamp of the OPTOMA X300 projector?
Turn off the projector and unplug it. Let it cool for 30 minutes. Open the lamp compartment at the rear, unscrew the fixing screws, remove the old lamp and insert the new one. Close and reconnect. Reset the lamp counter in the menu.
What is the lamp life?
The UHP lamp of the OPTOMA X300 lasts about 5000 hours in normal mode and up to 6000 hours in eco mode.
How to clean the air filter?
Turn off the projector and unplug it. Locate the air filter on the side. Remove it, dust it with a vacuum cleaner or soapy water. Dry completely before reinstalling.
Can I connect an HDMI device?
Yes, the OPTOMA X300 has an HDMI input compatible with HD sources such as Blu-ray players, game consoles and computers.
How to adjust keystone correction?
Use the keystone correction buttons on the projector or remote control. Adjust the image manually until it is rectangular. Vertical correction ranges from -40° to +40°.
My projector does not turn on, what should I do?
Check that the power cord is properly connected and that the outlet works. If the indicator flashes red, the lamp needs to be replaced or the projector has overheated. Let it cool down and try again.
How to adjust image sharpness?
Turn the focus ring on the lens until the image is sharp. Make sure the projector is at the right distance from the screen.
Can I use a universal remote control?
Yes, the remote control uses standard infrared codes. You can program a universal remote control with common OPTOMA codes (e.g. 0000 0000 0060 0000).
Where can I buy a replacement lamp?
Replacement lamps are available from authorized OPTOMA dealers or online. Refer to the lamp model indicated in the manual (UHP 190 W).
How to reset the lamp counter?
Go to the OSD menu, select 'Settings' then 'Maintenance' or 'Lamp Counter'. Choose 'Reset' and confirm. This is necessary after each lamp replacement.
