IMPORTANT!
- Read this instruction carefully in conjunction with the illustrations before using the appliance for the first time.
- Before connecting the kettle. Ensure that the voltage indicated on the on the identification plate corresponds with the main voltage.
- Connect the appliance to an earthed wall socket only.
- The kettle is protected against damage due to operation with insufficient water by means of a safety cut-out. This cuts off power when the heating element gets too hot.
- If the kettle ever runs dry while operating. First remove the mains plug from the wall socket. Then pour is sufficient cold water to cool down the heating element the safety cut-out automatically reset.
- Place the appliance on stable flat surface. Ensure that the kettle cannot fall into water.
- Pour away the first water boiled with the kettle. The appliance is then ready for use.
- Never use the kettle without the lid firmly in position.
- The kettle will switch off automatically when the water is boiling. You can switch the kettle off before boiling manually using the on/off switch.
- First fill the kettle and close firmly the lid, then plug in.
This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
– staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
– farm houses;
– by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
– bed and breakfast type environments.

WARNING!
- Don't immerse the kettle in any liquid.
- Only use the kettle for heating water.
- Keep the children and infirm persons from the kettle when it is in operation.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Do not overfill as boiling water maybe eject. Do not fill above the MAX or below the MIN mark. - Do not touch the hot surfaces of the kettle or allow your hand to come into contact with the steam from the spout or the lid aperture, especially filling hot water.
- Kettle is only to be used with the stand provided..
- Before cleaning, always disconnect from the mains and allow the kettle to cool. Never immerse the kettle in water at any time.
- Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste, use separate collection facilities. Contact you local government for information regarding the collection systems available. If electrical appliances are disposed of in landfills or dumps, hazardous substances can leak into the groundwater and get into the food chain, damaging your health and well-being. When replacing old appliances with new ones, the retailer is legally obligated to take back your old appliance for disposals at least free of charge.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or similarly qualified person in order to a void hazard.
CHAPTER 1. FILLING
- Open the lid and fill the jug.
- Do not fill with less than the MIN.
- Do not fill with more than the MAX (1.7liter)
- Do not forget close the lid firmly after fill.
CHAPTER 2. SWITCHING ON
- Insert the mains plug into a wall socket.
- Press the ON/OFF switch to boil .the pilot light will light up when the switch on "I" position.
CHAPTER 3. SWITCHING OFF
- When the water boiled, the appliance will switch off automatically and pilot light will go out, the switch will be the "O" position.
- You can switch the kettle off manually at any time.

NOTE:
When ON/OFF switch is turned off, do not force it into the "I" position as this will seriously damage the operating mechanism.
CHAPTER 4. CLEANING
- The kettle may be cleaned with a soft damp cloth after remove the mains plug from the wall socket. Do not use abrasive cleaner
- Soap or detergent can be used to remove the troublesome stains, strong acid and corrosion cleaner must not be used to clean the operating mechanism.
CHAPTER 5. DESCALING
• Clean off the scale on the inside of jug kettle regularly in following manner at least twice a year.
- Add max 1.7 liter of ordinary vinegar in kettle and boil it.
- Switch off (or remove the main from wall socket)
- Let the vinegar remain inside the kettle overnight.
- Throw the vinegar away in the next morning
- Fill with the clean water up the MAX and boil again.
- Throw away this boiled water to remove any remaining scale and vinegar.
- Rinse the inside of kettle with clean water.

CHAPTER 7. DISPOSAL OF ESED EQUIPENT
This device has been designed and manufactured of high-quality reusable materials and components.
The symbol of the crossed waste container placed on the product (Fig. A) means that the product is subject to selective collection in accordance with the provisions of Directive 2012/19/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council. a crossed-out wheelie bin symbol (Fig. B) placed on the product means that the product contains batteries that are subject to separate collection in accordance with the provisions of Directive 2006/66/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council. Such marking informs that electrical and electronic equipment and batteries (if any) must not be disposed of with other household waste after the period of use.
The user is obliged to return waste equipment and batteries (if any) to collection points for waste electrical and electronic equipment and batteries (if any). Collectors of such waste, including waste equipment collectors, treatment plants, distributors (shops), municipal waste separate collection points (municipal units), and other entities specified by law form an appropriate system to return this kind of equipment.
Correct disposal of waste equipment and batteries (if any) allows avoiding consequences that may be harmful to health and the environment, caused by the possible presence of hazardous components in the equipment and batteries, and inappropriate storage and processing of such equipment and batteries. Households play an important role in contributing to the reuse and recovery, including recycling, of waste equipment. At this stage, attitudes are formed, affecting the common good, which is a clean natural environment.
Moreover, households are one of the largest users of small equipment and the rational management thereof at this stage affects the recovery of secondary raw materials. Penalties may be imposed in accordance with national legislation for improper disposal of this product. If the device has a lock, please remove it for the safety of all persons who may later come into contact with the device. Some refrigerators and freezers contain insulation material and CFC refrigerant. Therefore, be careful not to pollute the environment when you
dispose of your old refrigerator.
