Frequently Asked Questions - MTC1 Rexing

What type of microSD card is required?
Use a Class 10 UHS-1 or higher microSD card with capacity from 8GB to 128GB. Cards lower than Class 10 may cause recording failure.
How do I install the cameras on my motorcycle?
Mount the cameras using the provided 3M adhesive pads after cleaning the surface. The lens angle can be adjusted up to 270 degrees by loosening the screw, and the lens body can rotate 360 degrees. Ensure the cables are securely connected.
Why is the GPS not working?
The GPS logger requires sufficient power. Ensure the camera is connected to a 5V/2A power source. If the current is insufficient, the GPS may not function properly.
How does the emergency video feature work?
Press and hold the Mode button (or remote button) for 3 seconds to lock the current recording. The G-sensor can also automatically trigger this upon detecting shocks. Locked videos are stored in a separate folder and cannot be deleted from the camera.
Can I use the dash cam while recording via USB?
Yes, you can power the camera via a USB cable connected to a 5V/2A adapter or portable battery. This is useful for temporary setup before permanent installation.
How do I connect to the Wi-Fi and use the app?
Download the Rexing app from www.rexingusa.com/support/rexing-apps or scan the QR code. The SSID is NPD_CarDV_WiFi_XXXX and password is 1234567890. Connect your phone to this Wi-Fi to view and manage recordings.
What should I do if the camera freezes or becomes unresponsive?
Use a pin to press the RESET button on either the monitor or remote control. This will restart the device and resolve most software issues.
Are the cameras waterproof?
The camera lenses are rated IP67 water resistant, meaning they can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. However, clean and dry the surface before applying adhesive.
How do I format the microSD card?
Go to the menu settings and select Format SD card. This will erase all data. It is recommended to format the card once a month to maintain performance.
What is the warranty period?
The Rexing MTC1 comes with a 12-month warranty. You can extend it to 18 months by registering your product at www.rexingusa.com/support/registration.
