What does the inverter technology do?
Inverter technology adjusts the compressor speed to maintain the desired temperature, resulting in energy savings, quieter operation, and more stable comfort.
Can I control the AC with my smartphone?
Yes, the Haier HSU18R-NTR3BN-INV supports Wi-Fi control via the Haier App. Download the app, follow the pairing instructions in the manual, and you can adjust settings remotely.
What is the recommended temperature setting for cooling?
For optimal comfort and efficiency, set the temperature between 24°C and 26°C (75°F - 79°F) during cooling mode.
How do I switch between cooling and heating?
Press the Mode button on the remote control until the desired mode icon appears (sun for heat, snowflake for cool). The unit will automatically adjust.
What does the 'Turbo' mode do?
Turbo mode runs the fan and compressor at maximum speed to quickly cool or heat the room. It automatically turns off after 30 minutes or when the set temperature is reached.
Why is my AC not cooling properly?
Check if the filter is dirty, ensure all windows and doors are closed, verify the set temperature is lower than the room temperature, and confirm the outdoor unit has adequate airflow. If problem persists, contact professional service.
What refrigerant does this unit use?
This air conditioner uses R32 refrigerant, which has lower global warming potential (GWP) than older refrigerants.
How often should I schedule professional maintenance?
It is recommended to have a professional inspection and cleaning at least once a year, preferably before the peak cooling or heating season.
What is the warranty coverage?
Haier offers a 5-year warranty on the compressor and a 1-year parts and labor warranty. Check your local dealer for exact terms.
