Frequently Asked Questions - RoadRunner 525GPS PRESTIGIO

How do I install the dash cam?
Attach the mount to the windshield, connect the power cable to the car charger, and plug the adapter into the device. Adjust the camera angle and insert a microSD card.
Does it work without a memory card?
No, a microSD card (Class 10, up to 32GB) is required for recording. The device has no internal storage.
How does the G-sensor work?
The G-sensor detects sudden impact or movement and automatically locks the current video file, protecting it from being overwritten during loop recording.
Can I view GPS data?
Yes, GPS data including speed and location is embedded in the video files. You can view it using compatible software on a computer.
What is loop recording?
Loop recording divides video into segments. When the memory card is full, it overwrites the oldest files. Locked files (e.g., from G-sensor) are not overwritten.
How do I configure the date and time?
The GPS automatically synchronizes time and date from satellites. If GPS signal is weak, you can manually set them in the settings menu.
Does it have a battery? How long does it last?
It has a built-in rechargeable battery for emergency use only (approx. 10 minutes). Continuous operation requires connection to car power.
Can I use the dash cam while parked?
It only records when powered via car adapter. For parking monitoring, you need a hardwire kit (sold separately).
Why is the video blurry?
Ensure the lens is clean and the windshield is clear. Also check that the resolution is set to 1080p and the memory card is fast enough (Class 10).
How do I reset the device?
Press and hold the reset button (small hole) with a paper clip for 5 seconds. This restores factory settings without deleting files on the card.
