How to replace the lamp of the OPTOMA W331 projector?

Turn off the projector and unplug it. Let it cool for 15 minutes. Open the lamp cover at the back, unscrew the fixing screws, remove the old lamp, insert the new one (model BL-FU240A), screw back and close the cover. Reset the lamp counter in the menu.

Why does my projector display 'High Temperature'?

This indicates overheating. Check that the air intakes are not blocked, clean the air filter, and place the projector in a well-ventilated area, at least 30 cm from walls.

How to connect an HDMI device to the projector?

Connect an HDMI cable from your source (Blu-ray player, console, PC) to the HDMI input of the projector. Select the HDMI source in the Input menu or via the remote control using the Source button.

The projector does not turn on, what to do?

Check that the power cable is properly connected and that the wall outlet works. Wait for the lamp to cool if the Power indicator blinks. If the problem persists, contact technical support.

How to clean the air filter?

Turn off the projector and unplug it. Locate the air filter on the side. Remove it and dust it with a vacuum cleaner or rinse it with warm water (mild soap), let it dry completely before reinstalling.

Can I project onto a ceiling or an inclined wall?

Yes, use the automatic or manual keystone correction in the menu to straighten the image. For ceiling installation, activate the 'Ceiling' mode in the Settings menu.

The remote control does not work, what to do?

Replace the batteries (AAA). Check that there is no obstacle between the remote control and the IR sensor of the projector. If the problem persists, use the control panel buttons on the projector.

How to adjust the focus?

Turn the focus ring located on the lens until the image is sharp. For zoom, use the zoom ring if available.

What is the optimal projection mode for a meeting room?

Use the Presentation mode or the Standard mode. Adjust the brightness according to ambient lighting. Enable Eco mode to reduce fan noise.

Can I use the projector wirelessly to display from my smartphone?

This model does not support built-in wireless projection. Use a wireless HDMI adapter or an MHL dongle if your smartphone is compatible. You can also connect via USB to display photos or videos directly.
