How do I connect my microphone to the DT22?

Connect your microphone using an XLR cable to one of the channel inputs. Ensure phantom power is enabled if using a condenser microphone by pressing the +48V switch for that channel.

Why is there no sound coming from the speakers?

Check that the mixer is powered on and the master volume is turned up. Verify that the channel faders are raised and that the mute buttons are not engaged. Also ensure your speakers are powered and connected to the correct output (Main Out or Monitor).

Can I use the DT22 with a computer?

The DT22 does not have a built-in USB interface. To connect to a computer, use the RCA or TRS outputs to connect to an external audio interface or sound card.

How do I add reverb to a channel?

Press the FX button on the desired channel to send the signal to the built-in effects processor. Use the FX send knob to adjust the amount. Then on the master section, adjust the FX return level and select a reverb preset using the effects control.

What type of power supply does the DT22 need?

The DT22 uses an external AC adapter that provides 12V DC. The specific model is included with the mixer. Always use the original adapter to avoid damage.

How do I clean the mixer?

Turn off and unplug the mixer. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Do not use alcohol, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, and avoid getting moisture inside the unit.

Can I connect a guitar directly to the DT22?

Yes, you can connect a guitar to a channel using a TS instrument cable to a TRS input. However, for best results, use a DI box to convert the signal to balanced XLR and to avoid impedance mismatch.

How do I set up a monitor mix?

Use the aux sends to create a separate mix for monitors. For each channel, adjust the aux send 1 (or 2) knob to set the level sent to the monitor output. Connect your monitor speaker to the corresponding aux output.

What do the LED indicators on each channel mean?

The green LED indicates signal presence (around -20 dB). The yellow LED indicates a strong signal (around 0 dB). The red LED indicates clipping; reduce the channel gain if the red LED lights up frequently.

How can I reset the mixer to factory settings?

The DT22 is an analog mixer and does not have factory presets. To reset, simply set all knobs and faders to their neutral positions (EQ flat, faders at unity, aux sends off). Power cycle the unit if needed.

The DT22-M is a PoE enabled Dante I/O unit. It can be used to complement Allen & Heath digital mixing systems, or any other system on a Dante network. It provides 2 mic/line preamps with local gain and phantom power control, and 2 line level outputs. It connects to the Dante network over a single Cat cable.

The DT22-M comes complete with brackets for surface mounting.

Surface mounting

The surface mounting ears allow the device to be mounted on top or under a surface, desktop or podium, or vertically on a wall or partition. They can be installed to face either the top or bottom of the unit.

Position the ears centrally on each side of the unit, aligned with the threaded holes on the insert bars, facing either up or down as required, and secure them using the 4x M3x6mm screws provided in the package.

Rear panel

① Dante EtherCon port for connection to the Dante network and Link / Activity LED indicator. Use a PoE Ethernet switch or PoE injector to power the unit via this port.
② Power LED indicator and Ready indicator. Ready lights up when the unit is successfully booted and ready to pass audio.
③ Factory Reset Hold down the recessed switch while powering up. After at least 10 seconds, remove power then power up again normally to reset the network settings and name. This will delete any static IP address and revert to factory default (DHCP / zero-conf).
④ DC input DC 12V connector.
