How to turn on the OPTOMA W331 projector?

Plug in the power cord and press the Power button on the top or remote. Wait a few seconds for the lamp to warm up.

The projected image is blurry, what to do?

Use the focus ring on the lens. If necessary, adjust the keystone correction using the OSD menu.

How to clean the dust filter?

Turn off the projector and unplug it. Open the filter cover on the side, remove the filter and dust it with a vacuum or compressed air. Replace it.

The projector does not turn on, why?

Check that the power cord is properly connected and the outlet works. Make sure the security lock is not activated. If the indicator blinks, consult the manual.

How to change the projector lamp?

Turn off the projector and let it cool. Unscrew the lamp cover, remove the old lamp and insert the new one following the markings. Reattach the cover. Reset the lamp counter in the menu.

What is the recommended projection distance for a 100-inch image?

It depends on the throw ratio. For the W331, a distance of about 3 meters is typical. Refer to the distance table in the manual.

The sound is not working, what should I check?

Check that the audio cable is connected to the appropriate input (HDMI or Audio). Make sure the volume is not muted and the projector is not in mute mode. Test with another source.

How to use keystone correction?

Access the OSD menu with the Menu button, select Keystone correction and adjust using the arrow keys. You can also use the remote.

The projector overheats and shuts down, what to do?

Ensure the air intakes are not blocked and the filter is clean. Reduce the ambient temperature. If the problem persists, contact a technician.
