Frequently Asked Questions - Pure Clean PSTM50 Pyle

How do I fill the water tank?
Unplug the unit. Open the water tank cap. Use the measuring cup to pour water into the tank. Do not exceed the max line. Use distilled water to prevent mineral buildup.
Can I use tap water?
Yes, but we recommend using distilled or demineralised water to reduce scaling. Frequent use of tap water may require more frequent descaling.
How long does it take to heat up?
Approximately 30 seconds. You will see steam coming from the nozzle when ready. Do not use until steam is steady.
Can I use it on upholstery?
Yes. Use the brush attachment for upholstery. Test on an inconspicuous area first. Hold the nozzle about 2 inches away and move in slow strokes.
How do I clean the steam cleaner?
Wait until the unit cools. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Descale the interior every 3 months by filling with a water vinegar solution (1:1) and steaming until empty.
Why is my steam cleaner not producing steam?
Check if there is enough water in the tank. Ensure the unit is plugged in and heated. If still no steam, there may be a clog. Clean the nozzle with a pin and descale the unit.
Can I use it on hardwood floors?
Yes, but use with caution. Attach the fabric cover over the nozzle or use the microfibre cloth. Avoid excessive moisture. Do not hold in one place too long.
How do I store the steam cleaner?
Empty the water tank after each use. Allow it to cool. Wind the cord loosely. Store in a dry place. Keep accessories in a separate pouch.
What accessories are included?
The package includes a measuring cup, funnel, detail brush, steam nozzle, and a microfibre cleaning cloth. Additional accessories can be purchased separately.
Can I use cleaning solutions?
No. Use only water. Adding chemicals can damage the steamer and may produce harmful fumes. The steam itself is sufficient for cleaning and sanitizing.
