How do I install the LYYT NL-PIR floodlight?

Unpack the light, screw the fixing bracket to the wall at a height no more than 2.5m, avoiding obstructions. Insert 6 AA batteries into the battery tray, turn on the light, and secure it onto the bracket. Adjust the LED heads and sensitivity/delay screws as needed.

What batteries are required for the NL-PIR?

A robust battery powered floodlight with PIR that provides a bright twin LED beam when triggered in the hours of darkness. It's easy to fit bracket and battery operation makes it a quick and simple addition to any property where security is needed. The twin 3W COB LED's give off an impressive 400 lumens and the PIR sensor operates at up to 10m distance at 120^ coverage angle.

Getting started

• Unpack the light and remove all packaging materials.
• Screw the fixing bracket to the wall in a suitable position making sure it's no higher than 2.5m from the ground and is away from any obstructions that could block the sensor path.
• Open the battery tray by pressing the release buttons on either side of the unit at the same time. Insert 6pcs of suitable AA batteries correctly in either side of the tray and re-insert into the unit.
• Turn on the light and insert into the fixing bracket ensuring that its locked securely in place.

• Adjust the 2 LED heads in any direction, ensuring you move them to the best possible angle to provide you with the maximum light coverage for your property.
• Now adjust the sensitivity and time delay screws according to your location and surroundings making sure you test it thoroughly in the hours of darkness. The sensitivity screw adjusts the Lux setting when the light becomes operational, so adjust towards the sun for it to start working earlier in the day (lighter) and towards the moon for it to start later in the day (darker). The time delay screw adjusts from a minimum of 10 seconds to a maximum of 60 seconds operating time.
• If at any time you need to remove the unit from the fixing bracket, press the small tab at the bottom centre of the bracket and lift the unit upwards sharply.
• Your Floodlight is now ready to use, and will operate in the hours of darkness according to your sensitivity and time delay adjustments. Please note: If there is continuous movement within the sensor area then the light will stay on as it has a continuous trigger feature.
