Frequently Asked Questions - SC15H4030V SAMSUNG

How do I empty the dust container?
Press the release button on top of the canister to remove the dust container. Hold it over a trash bin and press the bottom release lever to empty. For thorough cleaning, wash the container with mild soap and water and dry completely before reattaching.
How often should I clean the HEPA filter?
Clean the HEPA filter every 3-6 months, or when the filter cleaning indicator turns red. Remove the filter and tap it gently to remove dust, or wash it under running water (only if specifically indicated as washable). Let it dry for 24 hours before reinserting.
What should I do if the vacuum loses suction?
Check if the dust container is full, the filter is blocked, or there is a blockage in the hose or nozzle. Clean the filter and ensure the container is properly seated. Also check the brush roll for tangled hair or fibers.
Can I use this vacuum on all floor types?
Yes, the multi-function floor nozzle can be used on both hard floors and carpets. Adjust the suction power using the electronic slider for optimal performance on different surfaces.
How do I replace the belt?
First, unplug the vacuum. Remove the floor nozzle and use a screwdriver to open the brush cover. Lift the old belt off the pulley and brush roller, then loop the new belt around the pulley and brush roller. Reassemble the nozzle.
What accessories come with the SC15H4030V?
The vacuum includes a crevice tool for tight spaces, a dusting brush for delicate surfaces, and an upholstery tool for furniture and curtains.
How long is the power cord?
The power cord is 8.0 meters long, allowing a cleaning radius of up to 10.5 meters when combined with the hose and wand.
Is the vacuum bagless?
Yes, the SC15H4030V is a bagless cyclonic vacuum that requires no replacement bags. The dust container has a capacity of 4 liters and is easy to empty.
What does the electronic suction control do?
The slider on the handle allows you to adjust suction power from low for delicate fabrics to high for deep cleaning carpets. This helps save energy and reduces noise when full power isn't needed.
Where can I buy spare filters or parts?
Genuine Samsung replacement filters and parts are available from authorized service centers or online retailers. Check the user manual for the specific filter part number.
