How to install drives in the ThinkSystem SR665?
Ensure the server is powered off. Locate the drive bays on the front. Press the release button, insert the drive sled, and secure it. For details, refer to the Drive Installation section in the manual.
How to access the XClarity Controller?
Connect a network cable to the dedicated management port. Open a web browser and enter the default IP (check sticker). Use the default credentials (USERID/PASSW0RD) and change upon login.
How to configure RAID?
Enter UEFI Setup during boot (F1), navigate to System Settings > Storage. Select the RAID controller and create a virtual disk. Alternatively, use Lenovo XClarity Provisioning Manager.
What is the maximum memory supported?
The SR665 supports up to 4TB using 32x DDR4 ECC RDIMMs/LRDIMMs (128GB per slot) with AMD EPYC 7002/7003 processors.
How to replace a power supply?
No tools required. Press the orange release latch, pull the PSU out, and insert a new one until it clicks. The server can run on one PSU while replacing the other.
