Precautions

Important! All cards must be inserted into the card reader label side up. Inserting the cards the wrong way can damage the memory cards or the card reader.

Transfer Speeds

This Xcellon card reader has an overall bandwidth of 800 MB/s and regulates this max speed between each of the four slots. This means that your transfer speeds will be split based on the number of cards and type inserted into the card reader's slots. For example, when using all four slots, the theoretical max speed would be 200 MB/s per slot. When using just the two CFast slots, the theoretical max speed for each would be 400 MB/s.

Power Options

You can power the CR-CFASD with the included 12 V power adapter or by bus power. Using bus power requires a 3 A or higher output source in order to use all four slots at the same time. If the power source is less than 3 A, only two slots will work at a time.

This Xcellon product is warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal consumer use for a period of one (1) year from the original purchase date or thirty (30) days after replacement, whichever occurs later.
