Frequently Asked Questions - TF29OSCT8RW ElectriQ

How do I clean the ElectriQ TF29OSCT8RW fan?
To clean the fan, first unplug it. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior and grille. Do not use abrasive cleaners or submerge any part in water. For the blades, gently vacuum with a brush attachment.
Can I use the fan with a smart plug?
Yes, the fan has a mechanical on/off switch, so you can use a smart plug to control power. However, the fan's own electronic controls (modes, timer) will need manual setting after power is restored.
How do I replace the remote control battery?
The remote uses a CR2025 3V coin cell battery. Slide the battery compartment cover open, replace the battery with the positive (+) side facing up, and close the cover.
What does the oscillation button do?
Pressing the oscillation button on the control panel or remote makes the fan rotate left and right to distribute air across the room. Press again to stop oscillation.
Why is the fan making noise?
A slight hum is normal. If excessive, check if the fan is on a stable surface, or if the grille is loose. Also ensure no foreign objects are inside. If noise persists, contact support.
Can I use the fan outdoors?
No, this fan is designed for indoor use only. Exposure to moisture or dust may damage it and create safety hazards.
How do I set the timer?
Press the Timer button repeatedly to cycle through 0.5, 1, 2, 4, 6, and 7.5 hours. The fan will automatically turn off after the set time.
Does the fan have a filter?
No, the TF29OSCT8RW does not include a filter. It is a circulation fan that moves air without filtering particles.
What are the different speed modes?
There are three speed settings: Low, Medium, and High. Additionally, you can select Nature mode (simulates natural breeze) or Sleep mode (gradually decreases speed).
How do I assemble the fan?
Attach the base plate to the fan body using the provided screws and a screwdriver (not included). Then snap the front and back grilles together. Refer to the manual for detailed steps.
