Frequently Asked Questions - BV755BLC BOSS

How do I connect the DVD player to my TV?
Use an HDMI cable for the best quality. Alternatively, connect using composite (yellow, white, red) or component (red, green, blue) cables. Ensure the TV input is set to the correct source.
What disc types are supported?
This player supports DVD, DVD±R/RW, CD, CD-R/RW, VCD, and SVCD. It also plays back JPEG, MP3, and DivX files when recorded on a compatible disc.
Why won't my disc play?
Check that the disc is clean and free of scratches. Ensure it is inserted with the label side up. If the disc is a different region or format (e.g., Blu-ray), it won't play. Also verify the player is turned on.
How can I clean the DVD player lens?
Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the lens. Do not use any liquids or cleaning discs, as they can damage the lens. If problems persist, consult a technician.
What is the region code of this player?
The BV755BLC is typically set to Region 1 (North America) or Region 2 (Europe). Check the back panel or manual. To play discs from other regions, you may need a multi-region modification.
How do I set up parental controls?
Press the Setup button on the remote, go to 'Parental Control' or 'Rating'. Enter your password (default is usually 0000 or 1234) and select the desired rating level. You can also block specific discs.
The remote control is not working. What should I do?
Replace the batteries with new ones. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the player. Point the remote directly at the player's IR sensor. If still not working, check if another remote causes interference.
Can I play USB drives or memory cards on this player?
The BV755BLC does not have a USB port or memory card slot. It plays only optical discs. For media files, consider a media player or a DVD player with USB support.
How do I reset the DVD player to factory settings?
Go to the Setup menu, navigate to 'System' or 'Factory Reset', and select 'Reset'. Confirm when prompted. This will erase all custom settings and restore defaults.
Is the player compatible with 4K Ultra HD TVs?
This is a standard DVD player with 480p maximum output. It will work with any TV via HDMI, but it will not upscale to 4K. Picture quality depends on your TV's upscaling capabilities.
