Frequently Asked Questions - 619-416 Hamron

How do I set up the Hamron 619-416 tent?
Lay out the tent body and rainfly. Assemble the fiberglass poles and insert them into the pole sleeves. Secure the poles with clips or grommets. Stake out the corners and adjust guylines for tension. Practice setup at home first.
Is the tent waterproof?
Yes, the flysheet has a 2000mm waterproof rating and taped seams help keep water out. However, avoid pitching in standing water and use a groundsheet for extra protection.
How many people can fit in the tent?
The tent is designed for 2 persons. It provides enough space for two sleeping bags and small gear, but is not spacious for extra equipment.
What is the weight of the tent?
The total weight is approximately 2.5 kg (5.5 lb), making it suitable for backpacking or camping trips where weight is a concern.
How do I clean and maintain the tent?
Hand wash with mild soap and lukewarm water. Avoid machine washing. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before storing to prevent mildew. Do not fold or store when damp.
Can I use the tent in windy conditions?
The tent is freestanding and includes guylines for stability. In strong winds, ensure all stakes and guylines are properly secured. Avoid exposing the tent to extreme weather.
Does the tent come with a repair kit?
A repair kit is not included, but you can purchase tent repair patches separately. For pole damage, replacement poles are available from Hamron or third-party suppliers.
How do I pack the tent back into the carry bag?
Fold the tent carefully, avoid creasing the poles. Roll the tent tightly and place it in the carry bag. Ensure all components (poles, stakes, rainfly) are packed together.
Is the tent fire resistant?
The tent fabric has a fire retardant coating, but it is not fireproof. Always keep flames away from the tent and follow safety guidelines.
Where can I find replacement parts or accessories?
Replacement parts such as poles, stakes, and guylines can be ordered from Hamron's official website or authorized retailers. Check the model number 619-416 when ordering.
